7/10 WWE NXT IN ORLANDO, FL LIVE REPORT INCLUDING TOUGH ENOUGH COMPETITORS AND MORE

By Andrew Twiss on 2015-07-11 03:08:18

Before the matches get underway, Billy Gunn comes out to a huge pop and talked a little bit about Tough Enough. He then introduced Lita and the crowd went nuts. They discussed Tough Enough a little bit more and brought out the contestants, who walked around the ring, shaking hands with fans and then went back to their seats. Billy noted that Gabi and Josh were missing, as they were back at the barracks taking care of some business. Both would arrive a little later during the show.

We finally kicked off the in ring action. Dasha Fuentes and Zahra split ring announcing duties.

- Uhaa Nation def. Axel Tischer. Solid opener. Uhaa has incredible speed for a guy with his build. Tye Dillinger gave Uhaa's performance a 9.

- Dana Brooke def. Cassie McIntosh (KC Cassidy). Decent in spots, but there were several rough spots as well. Keep an eye on Cassie, she has some real good potential.

- We then get our first ever edition of SAWFT Talk, starring Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. Their guest is Preston Cunningham Jr. The 1st. Most of this was comedy as Enzo made fun of Preston having his daddy's money. Preston finally stole the mic and talked about how his father spent a lot of money to get him on SAWFT Talk. Colin laid him out with a big boot and Enzo draped a leopard print blanket over him.

- Bull Dempsey def. Marcus Louis. Lots of comedy spots, including Bull and Marcus criss crossing while running the ropes, Bull gets tired, Marcus keepz going, Bull starts up again and ends up knocking Marcus Louis down and falling on top of him. Once the match got serious, it was ok stuff with Louis working Bull over before the big comeback. Post match, Tye Dillinger rates Marcus Louis' performance as a 3. Marcus freaks out, Tye raises it to a 5, then runs off as Louis freaks out behind the curtain.

- The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) def. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. A good, fun match. Dawson and Wilder are kings of the entetaining house show match. Mojo and Ryder aren't bad as a team either. They play well off each other.

- Tyler Breeze def. Tye Dillinger. A good match. Much longer and better than their recent TV match.

- The Vaudevillains def. Jason Jordan/Chad Gable and Blake and Murphy in a triple threat tag match. Best match of the night. Constant action. Chad Gable seems like a much better fit for Jason Jordan as a tag partner.

- Sasha Banks def. Carmella. Before the match, Sasha talked about how she was the baddest and that she's beaten everybody. Carmella came out and tried to challenge her, but Sasha didnt want to. Once Carmella called Sasha SAWFT, though, Sasha grabbed a ref from the back and it was on. The match itself was pretty entertaining.  It was the best I've seen out of Carmella yet and Sasha brought her A game tonight.

- Main Event: Finn Balor def. Baron Corbin to retain the NXT Title. Real good stuff. I like the intensity from Corbin in this match. The more personality Corbin shows in the ring, the better it is for him. Real solid stuff oit of both of these two.

NOTES:

- All of the Tough Enough contestants except for Gabi and Josh arrived before the doors opened and took time to sign autographs and take pictures with everybody. Eventually, every contestant arrived. Gabi came with her husband, while Gigi's parents were also in attendance. ZZ got the biggest pop of the contestants.

- Meet and greet before the show involved: Sasha Banks, Scott Dawson, Dash Wilder, and Bull Dempsey.

- The show was a complete sellout.

- No return date to the Armory was announced.
