ZAYN UPDATE, LOTS OF NEW ACTION FIGURES AND MORE: WWE NEWS & NOTES FROM SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON

During today's Mattel panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Finn Balor, Bayley, Charlotte, Kevin Owens, The APA, The Godfather, J&J Security, Hideo Itami, Sami Zayn, The Ascension, Kalisto, Davey Boy Smith, Dean Malenko and Sasha Banks will be added to the WWE action figure line for the first time ever. New additions of Stephanie McMahon, Tyson Kidd, The Undertaker and others will be made available.

There also will be special editions of Hollywood Hogan, Sting circa Great American Bash 90 as well as a Defining Moments Undertaker released over the next nine months.

Seth Rollins appeared before the panel and said he couldn't be there due to filming the WWE 2K 16 commercial.

Sami Zayn was asked about his return to the ring, he responded by saying he couldn't give a timetable. The former NXT champion is out of the sling and is aiming for a late 2015 early 2016 come back. He said everything is going well.

Finn Balor was asked about being the NXT champion and he is proud of being the champion of such a trailblazing brand.
