VINCE MCMAHON'S FAVORITE VENUE, THE TIME A WWF WRESTLER TRIED TO LEAVE FOR WCW AND LEARNED HIS WWF DEAL HAD ALREADY BEEN RENEWED AND MORE

Speaking of the WWE visiting the same cities for its PPVs, one of the cities that the WWE loves to go to for its PPVs is St. Louis. It has hosted a PPV every year since 2012 as well as RAW's 1000th show. Do you think that the Scottrade Center has replaced MSG as Vince McMahon's favorite venue?

When Vince starts using the venue as the barometer to what is and is not working with the WWE product, then it has replaced MSG as his favorite. Until then....NO.

Whatever happened to former WWE/Tough Enough star Taylor Matheny?

Taylor is married to Brian Kendrick, no longer wrestles and is living in California.

Watching the WWE's Beast in the East special in Japan, the one thing that really stood out was how respectful the fans in Japan were. They weren't chanting out random things for no reason and trying to BE the show rather than the ones who the focus really should be on...the wrestlers in the ring. They didn't chant "Boring", the clapped when they thought something was good and they were all focused on what was going on in the ring. Do you guys feel that the fans, particularly the ones in the US have devolved as far as being respectful? Even watching more intimate shows like NXT, the fans there just non-stop chant things. Somethings that have nothing to do with what's going on at that moment. Second question would be what do you think promotions can do to change this or at least tame it?

I think a lot of fans have grown up watching the old ECW Arena crowd and have thought that was cool and wanted to mimic it, but they failed to understand that when the fans in that era were chanting, screaming and making noise, it was because they wanted ECW to do so well that they were trying to help the guys get over. I can't say that about every fan, but in the earliest era, the audience was "in on the joke" and wanted to have fun. Now, I think fans believe that they are there to create the fun and it's about them. That in itself is a shame. I don't think there's anything a wrestling promotion can do but ignore the chants and tell the best stories they can produce.

Following his impressive performances at the ROH/NJPW co-joint shows last May, was NJPW considering offering Roderick Strong a spot at this year's G1 Climax?

I haven't heard about Strong being under consideration for the tournament as those slots were planned out well in advance, but I'd be shocked if he didn't get a New Japan tour this year given his excellent work.

Hello gentlemen! Sometime around late 1999, I heard rumors of WCW wanting to sign D'lo Brown and that D'lo was going around certain people saying that they were going to push him as a world title contender. Then, apparently, WCW decided not to pursue signing him and once WWF brass caught wind of D'lo's boasts, he was pushed down the totem pole as punishment. Is there any merit to this?

The story is a little messed up. What happened is that D'Lo Brown was looking to go to WCW as he felt he had a better chance for a push and to make more money there. The story at the time, however, was that when he went to inform WWE, he learned that his contract had already rolled over, and he couldn't leave.
