WWE Studios' "12 Rounds 3: Lockdown" featuring Dean Ambrose will receive a limited theatrical run starting September 11th. Promotional material for the film notes Ambrose "plays Shaw, a detective that returns to active duty after the death of his partner. When he uncovers evidence linking his fellow officers to a murder, they frame him for a homicide he didn’t commit. Trapped in his own precinct, Shaw will do whatever it takes to expose the dirty cops and clear his name. With twelve rounds in the clip and one shot at redemption, nothing will stand in Shaw’s way in this action-packed thriller."

"Magic Mike XXL" which features WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash in a supporting role billed fourth from the top in the cast, was 4th at the box office for the Independence Day weekend, bringing in almost $27 million.

The Marvel Experience tour, a live touring event that put fans into a 4D world where they played SHIELD agents and interacted with Marvel superheroes and villains was abruptly canceled today following a week in Philadelphia. Stops in NYC, Chicago and St. Louis were among those set for later this summer. WWE had been one of the investors in the tour, which was using a lot of cutting edge technologies. Triple H had done voiceovers for The Hulk for the attraction. Thanks to Paul Jordan.
