HAS WWE TRULY GIVEN DIVAS A CHANCE, THE PATRIOT, TNA WOES AND MORE

You can send us questions for the PWInsider.com Q and A by clicking here. At Payback, Cena used the STF with the ring rope to defeat Rusev. What would have happened to Cena if he put the ring rope around Rusev's neck instead of on his face?

He wouldn't have done that as choking isn't allowed in the confines of a WWE performance.

What has WWE done differently with the Divas division since #GiveDivasAChance started? I see no differences between now and two months ago.

Have you seen WWE NXT? There is a group of women ready to make it to the main roster and WWE is preparing for that next wave of stars. You can't just make changes overnight. Even without those changes coming into effect, we've also seen the women get a LOT more in-ring time on TV and PPV.

Robert Englund rules! Saw your response on the q&a, had to chime in. He is great in a film called Behind the Mask:The Rise of Leslie Vernon. Didn't the Nightmare Freddy character originate in Japan where they had other horror-themed wrestlers?

Robert does rule. I've been a fan of his since the original "V" mini-series on NBC where he played Willie the friendly Visitor. The horror characters did pop up in Japan but my belief is that they were first seen in Memphis, likely as a by-product of Jerry Lawler's creative flair.

Why does tna not have the funds anymore? I know they haven't made any money, but doesn't Panda Energy still fund the company or did they put it on a tighter leash to slow down the bleeding.

I think it's pretty obvious that the funding has been tightened. Panda is the parent company of TNA but the company has been letting TNA run of it's own accord for some time. When there is less money coming in, there's less money to spend. TNA has obviously been hurting for some time and unfortunately, it's really showing.

I saw there is a documentary about the Patriot coming out. Isn't he still wrestling?

No, the original Patriot was Del Wilkes, who also wrestled as The Trooper in the AWA. He's been retired for years. Tom Brandi has been doing a version of the character for some time but it was never with Wilkes' blessing or permission, according to Wilkes.
