Marvel Comics unveiled 45 new series they will be releasing as part of a company-wide new direction coming out of their current "Secret Wars" storyline.

Included in the announcement was the new, ongoing series for Drax the Destroyer. Marvel announced at the C2E2 convention in Chicago this past April that former WWE champion turned UFC fighter CM Punk will be writing the series. They today announced Punk will be writing the series with Cullen Bunn with cover art by Ed McGuinness.

The tagline for the series is "Best in the Galaxy."

Drax is a member of Guardians of the Galaxy. In the "Guardians" film, Drax was portrayed by former WWE star Dave Bautista. It was announced yesterday that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is the official title of the sequel, which will be released theatrically on 5/5/17.
