WHY IS KEVIN OWENS A HEEL, DO I MIND THAT SOME PEOPLE GET TO TRY WWE NETWORK FOR FREE, WHY BLOOD AND GUTS GETS COVERED HERE (BUT NOT BY ME) AND MORE

Why does Matt Striker seem to be looked down upon by fellow announcers? I remember other announcers getting on his case during multi-brand PPV's and even Jim Ross seems to somewhat mock Striker regarding their work together in Japan for Wrestle Kingdom.

Striker has been know to “go into business for himself” at times, and by that I mean go off the page of what his producers want him to do. That was largely why WWE let him go.

You recently covered in an answer your feelings about blood use in wrestling, something I am very much in agreement with. However you then use a page to promote, and I quote: "COMPLETE DETAILS ON THIS MONTH'S WRESTLING'S BLOODIEST WARS PPV EVENTS”, something I find very hypocritical. How do you equate the viewpoints you feel and share with us with promoting this kind of programming?

It is not hypocritical at all. I (me, Dave) will not cover that kind of stuff. However, I don’t and never have told Mike Johnson what he can cover. He chooses to write about that stuff, while do not. I don’t issue edicts here. Mike can cover whatever he feels is pertinent.

With Tyson being out due to the injury, and from the video footage I saw it looked like a legit landing, and just bad side of the industry catching up on Tyson, would it be a good idea to give Cesaro the 'vengeance' motivator to go after Joe on the NXT brand?  It just sounds like money to me, and those two would put on some of the hardest, smash mouth, wrestling we've seen in a while.  Just seems like a logical step to shoot on the injury as a motivation device.  Thoughts?

I wouldn’t be averse to them making a storyline out of it. It would be a shame if Cesaro couldn’t do it on the main roster however. But the idea itself, sure I have no issue with them turning it into an angle, provided Tyson Kidd isn’t seriously injured.

It seems like every other month WWE is new network subscribers a free month of the network.  Which is a good idea don't get me wrong.  But what about the fans that have been loyal network subscribers since day 1 of the network.  The network has been going strong for almost a year and a half now, and I have yet to see WWE acknowledge any subscribers who have stayed with the network from it launch date.  Just wanted to get your opinion on that.

If memory serves, WWE offered a free trial in the beginning. It might have been a week, I forget. The reason I forget is that I never took them up on it. I knew I was going to order the Network so I didn’t even think to get anything for free. In any event, the offer now is made to new customers only so it is a one time thing. And if someone is an existing subscriber and wants to get the free month, they could alway cancel and sign up again with a different email address. To me, it’s never been an issue. I feel it’s a great bargain at $9.99 so I don’t need to get anything free from WWE.

So while John Cena makes millions of dollars, lives in a mansion, and dates a gorgeous woman, Kevin Owens has been working in the indies for 15 years. He wrestles to provide for his family, including a child whose favorite wrestler is John Cena, not him. He backs up everything he says he's going to do on the mic, and he beats Cena 1-2-3 without cheating or even getting out of the ring. So, why am I supposed to hate this guy again?

And not only that, but Owens didn’t cheat a bit against Cena at the PPV last weekend. He just went out and was the better man. Then on Monday, he did a promo about how a real man does what he says he is going to do. Also a babyface move in my book. I don’t see why he is a heel either. He is just a man who does what he says he will do to me. But, he has been less than nice to John Cena so in Vince McMahon’s world, that means he is a bad guy.
