MORE ON SAMOA JOE-WWE

While he and WWE have come to terms in regard for an exclusive deal, as of this writing, Samoa Joe has not actually signed a contract as the paperwork is still being prepared.

The new deal, an addendum to the original deal Joe signed several weeks back, will see Joe working for the WWE NXT brand and is not one that will see him immediately move to the Raw and Smackdown brands.

Sources indicate that Joe will be one of the focal points of NXT in the weeks to come, especially as it appears Kevin Owens will be moving to the main roster.

Ring of Honor was obviously open and willing to use Joe going forward beyond his 6/20 date in NYC, but his new WWE deal will prevent that.
