A DIVA VERSION OF THE SHIELD, FINN BALOR IS AWESOME (IF YOU LIKE HIM), DOES WWE CARE ABOUT COMPETITION AND MORE

With all of the accolades being deservedly showered on the women of NXT and the talk of how they'll change the Divas division, what do you think of debuting Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte (again) as a faction? It could be one part female Shield, one part NXT Invasion with the message of ridding WWE of Divas and replacing them with women wrestlers. The distinct differences between the women and the lineage of Charlotte could play really strongly.

It would only make sense if WWE commits to changing the way they present the Divas. If they are going to get more serious about them, then the idea could work. But if it’s going to be three ass kicking females against the women that aren’t exactly presented that way now, it would have to be really one-sided for the new women.

ROH and Impact airing back-to-back on Destination America amazes me, and made me wonder if this has ever happened before? I couldn't come up with another time where two separate wrestling organizations aired in a block on the same network. I don't know much about TV schedules in the territory days, so I was wondering if you could answer this question for me?

There was at least one smaller network in the past (the name escapes me) that aired multiple one hour shows but on a major basis. If memory serves, ESPN aired their AWA and Global footage at the same time as well. But as far a night, of national programming, on the stage that this will be, I can’t ever remembering it happening in my lifetime.

Do you ever see Dr. James Andrews being put in the WWE Hall of Fame? He is certainly deserving, and while not really a 'celebrity', he has to be thought of as one among the wrestlers.

I think he belongs in every sports-related Hall Of Fame, he is that important to athletics. He is a slam dunk no-brainer to me.

Now that more Independent Wrestling promotions are getting tv deals do you see this being the competition that WWE needs to finally make some changes.

At this time, nope. If those shows can take hold and get millions of viewers, maybe. But WWE didn’t worry about TNA when they peaked at 1.5M viewers. They sure aren’t going to worry about a show that does a tenth of that.

Finn's entrance: what's so orgasmic about it? It's long-winded, half of it is not visible due to the lighting and his in-ring work doesn't change that much in comparison to his regular work, so I'm not sure I understand the appeal of it. Second, for having heard him talk about his career, he seems very seasoned and consummate, but how does that translate in terms of his personality/mic work? As he showed any in his pre-WWE stints? I can understand what people see in guys like Steen or Ambrose: these guys knew how to work and were also entertaining during their indie runs--they were the complete package. But I don't see the reason behind the huge fan fair for guys like Finn and Hideo.

Much like a question someone asked last week about Rusev, explaining why someone is good to a person that doesn’t see it is an exercise in futility. I could point out the technical reasons why Balor is great, but if you don’t see them, it wouldn’t do any good. And the entrance, purely a matter of opinion. I love it. You don’t. It’s OK, we all have a right to our opinions.
