MATT HARDY WEIGHS IN ON TNA'S STATUS WITH DESTINATION AMERICA, ROH COMING TO THE NETWORK AND MORE

By Paul Jordan on 2015-05-30 09:15:55

Matt Hardy posted a video giving his thoughts on the TNA/ROH/Destination America story. Matt talks about the original story broken by Dave Meltzer saying Impact Wrestling was canceled and how there are threads of truth in the wrestling business. Hardy says that TNA management assured the talent that everything is fine and keep doing what they do. Matt says he always tries to be a company employee. He puts over the hard work of everyone involved in the company. Matt says he'll continue to wave the company's flag in the future and say "full speed ahead" saying that's the Omega way.

Hardy, much like his former partner MVP a few days ago, announced that he has a deal with Impact Wrestling until February 2016.

Matt says, in 2015, he tries to be a model employee for whatever he works with. Hardy recounts that when he left WWE in 2010, he was a sh***y employee and he needed to go away for a while from the wrestling bubble. Once he did, he realized what he needed to do to take care of himself as he gets older. He says he now prides himself on his behavior and being a model employee. He says he is the best damn employee you are going to find anywhere. TNA management has assured him that everything is cool so that's always going to perform going forward. He wants fans to stand up for Impact Wrestling. Hardy he wants to help build something where young talent can make a living doing what they love.

He talks about the Ring of Honor announcement and how much he loves the promotion. He said he never wanted to leave the company but he had to when he signed with Impact Wrestling. Matt says he loves teaming with his brother Jeff but he loves his time in ROH a little bit more. He puts over Delirious as ROH Booker saying that he gets more from talent than anyone in professional wrestling right now. Hardy says the Ring of Honor roster is very talented and motivated making them a great lead-in for Impact Wrestling, saying the pairing could be a game changer in the wrestling business. Hardy says it's time for these wrestling companies to put their egos aside and really work together to make something special for fans. Matt says he knows they are competition but they also work together on Destination America now.

Matt theorizes both promotions working together to create unpredictable moments in professional wrestling.

Hardy ends the video with his upcoming independent dates for the weekend. You can find the video by going here.
