FINAL EVENT AT NASSAU COLISEUM TONIGHT, NXT PREVIEW, 'ARROW' STAR AT RAW AND MORE NEWS

"Arrow" star Stephen Amell, a huge WWE fan who does a hell of a job as Oliver Queen, noted on Twitter he's attending tonight's Raw taping at the Nassau Coliseum.

Speaking of Nassau, this is the last scheduled WWE show in the venue before it shuts down and is renovated.  WWE has been running there for decades, dating back to the early 1970s when the Coliseum opened.   The first episode of Saturday Night's Main Event was taped in the venue and the second Wrestlemania had it's New York portion featuring Mr. T boxing Roddy Piper hosted there.  The venue also hosted a number of PPVs over the years, including Summerslam 2002 which saw Shawn Michaels return to the ring against HHH, Brock Lesnar win his first WWE championship and was one of the best top to bottom WWE shows ever.  I've probably seen 100 shows in the venue dating back to my childhood and tonight is absolutely an end of an era for NYC fans who remember the days where WWF ran Nassau, Madison Square Garden and The Meadowlands regularly.

If everything occurs as has been locally advertised, the final match held in the venue will be John Cena & Roman Reigns & Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt & Seth Rollins & Rusev.

Kane was interviewed by Newsday about the final event in the venue at this link.

A first look at the forthcoming Daniel Bryan documentary will air following Raw on the WWE Network tonight.

Scheduled for this Wednesday's episode of WWE NXT:

*WWE NXT champion Kevin Owens vs. Solomon Crowe.
*Bayley vs. Emma.
*Finn Balor vs. Tye Dillinger.
*WWE NXT Tag Team champions Blake & Murphy vs. Elias Samson & Mike Rallis.
*Also appearing will be Samoa Joe, Dana Brooke, William Regal, Alexa Bliss and more.

Today is the last day for a number of great Memorial Day sales.  Our friends at www.ringsidecollectibles.com have a tremendous sale right now on action figures, signed merchandise, t-shirts and more.

WWE has released a new Neville t-shirt using the slogan "The Altitude Era" as well as shirts with the new Tough Enough logo.

Interesting to note that Men's and children's shirts for Becky Lynch have been pulled from WWEShop.com.  I don't know this to be the cause, but there was a lot of chatter on social media about the idea that the company was selling a shirt for men that read "Lass Kicker", implying (out of context of Lynch's character) that they wanted to hit women.  The female version of the shirt is still for sale.

An announced Hideo Itami shirt was also removed from WWEShop this week.
