BACKSTAGE NOTES FROM RAW, ECW DVD CHANGES & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-05-04 18:01:53

For those who asked, WWE Intercontinental champion Daniel Bryan is not backstage at Raw in Montreal.

NXT Diva Charlotte is booked for both Raw and Smackdown this week, so she's there if they decide to debut her. There was a lot of talk WrestleMania week that she would be coming up to the main roster.

Sami Zayn is also at WWE TV this week. Montreal is his hometown, so on paper, Zayn debuting makes sense, but that doesn't mean it will happen. There is a Cena open challenge, though!

Diamond Dallas Page is in Connecticut today filming the Best of Nitro Volume 3 host segments.

Miz noted on his Twitter that the Marine 4 DVD release did extremely well in the first week of release.

WWE events going on sale this week include a 7/4 live event in Winnipeg, Manitoba and a 7/7 Smackdown taping in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

"The Old Boys" documentary mentioned earlier today on PWInsider will be released on 6/20 on DVD. Mr D. sent along the following notes on the new ECW Uncensored Volume 3 DVD matches:
