WWE LOSES A VALUABLE ALLY FROM ESPN

By Dave Scherer on 2015-05-03 12:09:58

After being banned from attending last night’s Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao by Mayweather’s camp due to covering the allegations of domestic abuse against Floyd, ESPN and HBO’s Michelle Beadle tweeted the following last night:

”I’ve loved @WWE for a long time. But @TripleH and his love for a serial abuser is too much. I'm turning in my fan card. #WasFunWhileItLasted”.

When she was asked if it was about “credentials” she responded, “No. They've given me great seats to amazing events over the years. I'm grateful. But I'm also done now. “

Beadle's tweet was in response to a tweet that H, a good friend of Mayweather, sent out after the fight: ".@FloydMayweather WOW..... Just WOW. Masterful !!!!! #TMT #TBE #48and0
Congratulations".

Beadle has attended many WWE events over the years and hosted Brock Lesnar’s “decision” broadcast, where the then champion announced he was staying with WWE, for ESPN back in March. She was also involved in a backstage flap a few years ago where she made a remark to CM Punk that AJ Lee took offense to, leading to an altercation between the women.
