By Stuart Carapola on 2015-05-01 22:55:53
Welcome to the Impact Wrestling Report here on PWInsider.com, as it's time once again for Hardcore Justice!

No opening promo this week, we've got guys brawling in the aisle to kick start our opening match!

No DQ Six Man: Davey Richards & The Hardys vs Manik, Khoya & Abyss

Matt works Abyss over with a kendo stick on the floor while Davey and Manik go at it in the ring. The Hardys come in and double team Manik, and they hit Poetry In Motion. They put Abyss down and Jeff goes for the Swanton, but Manik and Khoya come in and Khoya nearly breaks Jeff with a botched powerbomb. Manik drills Davey with a dropkick square in the mouth as Abyss rams Matt into the ring steps. Jeff bashes Khoya with repeated shots from a trash can, but Abyss comes in and works Jeff over with a pipe until Matt makes the save with a steel chair. Abyss goes for a chokeslam, but Davey gets out, dropkicks Abyss' legs out from under him, and knocks him out with Creeping Death. Abyss rolls to the outside, so Davey goes out after him with a dive through the ropes, Jeff takes Khoya out with another dive, and Matt plants Manik in the ring with the Side Effect before going outside after Khoya. Davey comes off the top with a double stomp to Manik's chest, but Abyss breaks up the pinfall by goozling Davey into the air and chokeslamming him into next week. Abyss goes for an Earthquake splash, but Jeff holds up a chair into Abyss ding ding, then Matt hits the Twist of Fate and Jeff hits the Swanton on Abyss for the win.

Winners: Davey Richards & The Hardys

Great opener, but James Storm comes out while the winners celebrate and he doesn't look happy. He chews Abyss out and tells him to get to the back.

Josh and Al Snow run down tonight's card, then we go to Ken Anderson, who says Ken Anderson stuff that is directed at Ethan Carter III.

Ken Anderson comes out to a podium like EC3 had set up last week, and he's dressed in a suit and all, and he says he's not interested in Carter's campaign promises, he cares about seeing his ass whooped. Anderson has some picture on an easel under a curtain, but EC3 and Tyrus come out to interrupt. The fans tell EC3 that he can't wrestle, but EC3 says he's the first man to bring politics into wrestling and nobody can ever do that again, but his campaign is no joke, he's very very very serious. Anderson says that if Ethan wants to be the champion, then just win it instead of talking about it. EC3 talks about how he's never been defeated, and Anderson reveals his campaign poster saying that he wants to beat Carter's streak. EC3 says Anderson is just going to be a footnote in his rise to becoming champion, so Anderson says they should do it live on May 8th and put it in the hands of the fans so they can vote how they want to see Carter's streak ended. Carter says challenge accepted, but he implores Anderson to tread lightly.

X Division Title Ladder Match: Rockstar Spud vs Mandrews vs Tigre Uno vs Kenny King

Tigre takes King out almost immediately with a dive to the floor, then Mandrews does the same with a top rope shooting star press. Mandrews brings the ladder into the ring, but King stops that quickly and Tigre takes them both out with a top rope move of his own. Tigre tries to climb for the belt, but Spud stops that and then Mandrews and King have an exchange that ends with Mandrews hitting a twisting tornado DDT off the ladder. King viciously attacks Spud's taped up ribs, but Mandrews takes King out and sets the ladder up. He climbs up and gets his hand on the belt, but Tigre stops that and climbs up with Mandrews. They battle at the top and Tigre hits a top rope moonsault suplex thing that seemed to hurt him as much as it hurt Mandrews. King tries to climb, Spud hangs onto the ankle, and he hits King with a nice flurry of moves. Spud climbs the ladder, King goes up after him and kicks him in the ribs until he falls, knocks Tigre off when he tries to get up there as well, but then Spud climbs back up, fights King off, and grabs the belt. Homicide comes out of nowhere and throws Spud off the ladder, then helps King up the ladder to grab the X Division Title belt for the win.

Winner and New X Division Champion: Kenny King

It was a spotfest, but I'm happy to see King get that title back.

Josh and Al tell us that Eric Young will face Kurt Angle later in a stretcher match, and after a video package showing the history between them, Eric Young comes out with a stretcher and says everyone thought they knew him. Angle says winning the title changed him, and Young says that's right because it showed him that he really could be the man, and he has taken out everyone who has stood in his way trying to get the title back: Lashley, Roode, Aries, all of them went on this very stretcher. Tonight's match being non-title may seem like a step back, but he sees it as a chance to make a statement because he's ending Kurt Angle's career tonight.

The BDC is backstage celebrating King winning the X Division Title, and now Low Ki is going to finish things with Drew Galloway tonight. MVP hands Ki a pipe, and Low Ki says blood in, blood out.

Big Stupid The Camera Moron finds Spud backstage and asks how he feels right now. Spud says he feels like someone broke into his care because he had something he worked 14 years for stolen from him. Spud names a bunch of people who don't work here anymore and says he worked for 14 years to hold the belt those men all held because it put him in the company of the best in the history of the business. He's going to get it back and he's going to be the X Division Champion again.

The Dollhouse cuts a creepy Dollhouse promo, and Taryn Terrell is going to defend the title against Brooke Tessmacher after this!

Knockouts Title Match: Taryn Terrell vs Brooke Tessmacher

Basic feeling out stuff to start, and Brooke gets the early advantage with a few armdrags and a dropkicks that sends Taryn out to the floor to confer with Jade and Marti. Marti Belle kind of reminds me of Astrid from Fringe. taryn goes back in and Brooke hits a couple of neckbreakers for 2, but Jade trips Brooke from the floor and Taryn quickly swoops in and grinds Brooke's face into the mat. Taryn chokes Brooke on the second rope and then snaps her back before stomping on her head. Brooke dodges a top rope bodypress and starts to mount a comeback. Brooke with a top rope facebuster, Taryn tries to escape to the floor, and Brooke doesn't give her any time to rest, taking all three members of the Dollhouse out with a dive. They go back in where Brooke hits a flapjack before going to the top again and...getting shoved off by Jade. Taryn quickly swoops in with the Taryn Cutter for the win.

Winner: Taryn Terrell

Taryn takes a jawbreaker from Marti and shoves her ball in Brooke's mouth and then cuts a promo about how nobody could beat her and never will. Gail Kim comes out and asks what Taryn is doing, and Taryn says she's tired of living in Gail's shadow and isn't going to do it any more. Taryn says there's nothing Gail can do about it because there's three of them and only one of her, but Gail says she's not alone, and she brings out Amazing Kong. Gail and Kong together?

The Rising are backstage getting fired up, and Angle will face Young in a stretcher match any moment now!

Pipe On A Pole: Drew Galloway vs Low Ki

Drew wastes no time going after Low Ki, beating him up on the floor and smashing his face into the ring steps. Low Ki gets a chair and throws it at Drew, but Drew moves and uses the chair to massage Low Ki's back instead. Drew suplexes Low Ki onto the ring apron and then chops him just for good measure. Drew goes for the pipe, but Low Ki takes him down and fires a flurry of kicks into Galloway's ribs. Galloway blocks the Ki Krusher and goes for a powerbomb onto the chair, but Low Ki gets out and drills Galloway with a running shot in the corner. Ki comes off the top rope with a double stomps to Galloway's back and covers for 2, then goes up for the pipe. Galloway follows Ki up and the pipe falls off the pole as they fight one another. Ki knocks Galloway into the Tree of Woe and goes for a double stomp, but Galloway grabs Ki and chucks him onto the mat, then gets the pipe. Galloway tries coming off the second rope with the pipe, but Ki kicks him in the chest and takes the pipe for himself. Galloway ducks a wild swing and hits the double underhook DDT onto the chair for the win.

Winner: Drew Galloway

Of course, the BDC runs in and beats Galloway up, Eli Drake and Micah run out to make the save and the two sides brawl as we go to commercial.

We see the recent history between James Storm and Mickie James, and then we see Storm hanging out with Mickie and holding Mickie's baby while the go shopping. Brutus Magnus is in the ring, but James Storm comes out before Magnus has the chance to say five words. Nick tells Storm that he's starting to piss him off, and he appreciated when he helped out with Bram, but now Storm is overstepping his boundaries. He knows what he's trying to do, but the fact is that Mickie's not a member of the Revolution, and all he's trying to do is drive a wedge between he and Mickie and he tells Storm it won't happen again. Storm says he's not manipulating anyone, he helped a friend just like Magnus said a man would. Storm says someone has trust issues because Magnus had a cameraman follow him around and saw them bump into one another in a public parking lot. Storm says he's known Mickie for a long time, far longer than Maguns, and he says that if their friendship was so innocent, why didn't Mickie tell him about it? Storm says to ask Mickie about all this, then drops the mic and walks off.

Kurt Angle is backstage and he says that tonight is all about violence, and if Young wants to show him the real Eric Young, he's going to show Eric a real, pissed off Kurt Angle because that's real.

It's main event time!

Stretcher Match: Kurt Angle vs Eric Young

They go right at each other, but Angle kisses a charge and sails through the ropes to the floor. We go to commercial and come back to Angle suplexing Young, who rolls out to the floor. Angle goes out after Young, who nails him with a right hand as he comes off the apron with a double axhandle. Young gets the stretcher, and he and Angle wind up fighting on the apron. Angle goes for a German suplex off the apron, but Young fights him off. They go back inside where Angle hits the rolling German suplexes, Young tries holding onto the top turnbuckle and ends up pulling it off when Angle yanks him off for another suplex. They roll out to the floor where Young kicks Angle in the ding ding with his shin guard. Angle blocks a piledriver on the floor and slingshots Young into the ringpost, then hits a Hacker Slam on the floor. Angle starts to strap Young onto the stretcher, but Young fights his way free and brings Angle into the ring where Angle gets him in the anklelock. Young rolls out and sends Angle into the exposed turnbuckle, then gives Angle a piledriver that I would have NEVER expected Angle to take. Young hits another piledriver and drags Angle out to the floor, putting him on the stretcher and strapping him in for the win.

Winner: Eric Young

Good fight, and Young grabs the belt and holds it up in Angle's face to put Angle on notice that the title is going to be his again.
