New Japan Pro Wrestling star and Bullet club member to headline for championship at Six Flags Great Adventure.
Jersey City, NJ April 30th, 2015: Saturday night June 13th is shaping up to be one of the biggest nights in the history of Jersey Championship Wrestling as the company will hold an event at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. This event will feature WWE Hall of Famers, Mick Foley, Scott Hall, “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase, Jake “the Snake” Roberts, and more legends and stars,but in the main event Saturday night June 13th will be Bad Boy vs. Bad Boy as JCW Champion Joey Janela will defend his title (if still champion) against New Japan Pro Wrestling star and member of the Bullet Club TAMA TONGA!
Tonga, a second generation star has become one of the most well regarded and respected wrestlers in Japan, not only for his pedigree being the son of the legendary wrestler Haku (AKA Meng) , but for being a member of one of the, if not the biggest stable of wrestlers seen in New Japan Pro Wrestling, the Bullet Club. Tonga's stature and ability will follow him to Six Flags as he takes on the JCW Champion Janela, who has risen in the ranks of Pro Wrestling in North America and defeating wrestlers such as Chris Dickinson, Carlos “Pinkie” Sanchez, and former WCW tag team Champion Devon Storm. This battle of the bad boys has sent shock waves through Jersey Championship Wrestling, as Tonga sent a message to Janela while in Tokyo for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Tonga claims that their can only be one bad boy in pro wrestling and it will be decided upon on June 13th.
