Extreme Rules Live Notes:
The building was a legit sell out like it is anytime wwe comes to town. Before the PPV and even at some point during the PPV, there were a ton of CM Punk chants.
It should be noted that as much as people hate The New Day, "New Day sucks" chants were going on well before the PPV started and even a small chant began during the main event.
Neville vs. Barrett
It was good fun match to get the crowd going. Neville is super over with the crowd, plus his athleticism just jumps out watching him live.
Ambrose vs. Harper
This match had lots of potential as the crowd loved Ambrose, but the decision to have them leave the arena blew up in my opinion as the crowd hated that.
Ziggler vs. Sheamus
This was also a good match. That was the theme for tonight as there wasn't anything bad on the show nor there was anything great. Ziggler is over big team and probably got one of the biggest pops of the night.
Kidd & Cesaro vs. New Day
New Day sucks chants are catching on. Fun match but the crowd really wanted to see Kidd & Cesaro retain as they were really over with the crowd.
Cena vs. Rusev
Live, it was a good match. The crowd was chanting for Lana as booed as she left. From my seats you could kinda see part of the American Flag hanging which gave away the match. Cena as expected hated by the adults and loved by the kids. Poor decision in having Cena go over.
Nikki vs. Naomi
This match was kinda just there as it never really picked up steam. People didn't really care that much.
Roman vs. Big Show
This match was probably the match of the night. Really fun match watching it live. Especially the crowd wanting tables in the beginning and Show not letting it happen. All the big spots came across great live. Really fun match.
Rollins vs. Orton
This was along side the Roman match as the best match of the night in my opinion. Crowd popped huge for the pedigree spot. All the run-ins were really predictable. Would have liked to see Rollins win clean once to show he's a strong champion.
