DEFENDING THE BUSHWHACKERS, PUTTING A SPIN ON THE LADDER MATCH, JOE VS. BRYAN IN WWE AND MUCH MORE

Okay guys...go gentle on this idea as its just that...an idea. I was wondering if WWE was going to create any new gimmick matches. Seeing they are bringing back the Ladder match concept at WrestleMania 31 for the Intercontinental title, I was thinking about how they could make it fresh and possibly exciting. What if they were to merge Ladder match rules with those of the Royal Rumble? Two Superstars start the match and at 2 minute intervals another competitor joins the match. Now at any time someone can be eliminated from the match by being thrown over the top rope and both feel touching the floor. Of course, the ladder match rules are in effect as well so there very well could be a winner without all the participants being in the actual match. It could truly be a match where the winner is not predetermined and would actually be a luck of the draw. You therefore eliminate the possibility of the huge cluster spots that happen in a ladder match while making it new and exciting. Am I crazy or do you think this could actually be a thing that could work?

I sort of like the idea, but I don't see WWE giving this the sort of time it would need at a Wrestlemania to let it breathe and really be what it could be. There's just too much to do that show. I would love to see this as an twist on the Money in the Bank match as it brings the Wargames rules in where you build the drama and no one can win until everyone is out.

While I'm all for rubber matches, do you see Rusev beating Cena at WM (Lana can pull the ref out of the ring after Cena powers out of the Accolade and delivers an AA. While the ref tosses Lana out Rusev hits Cena with the belt and wins again. Cena is insulated from a WM loss while another win over a young talent would be seen as burying them) Then at Extreme Rules Cena finally wins while elevating Rusev and recapturing the U.S. Title?

It's an interesting idea especially since Wrestlemania has traditionally been the show where the major heroes win their bouts and vanquish the villains. But, there are exceptions to that rule. I'd be all for it, but you have to think that if they are going to end the Rusev win/loss streak, that's the night to do it.

The Bushwhackers are going into the Hall of Fame? Really?? A comedy team that never held a world title goes in before legendary teams like the Midnight Express, the Rock n Roll Express, the Bulldogs, the Steiners, the Freebirds, etc??? And before WWWF Champion Ivan Koloff, who also was a world tag team champ five times? No knock on the Whackers/Sheepherders, but who pushed for this induction over so many, more worthy legends?

All of professional wrestling, including the WWE Hall of Fame, is subjective. I have absolutely no problem with The Bushwhackers going into the Hall. We are talking about a team that was together for over three decades that headlined in Australia, Canada, Mid-South, etc. certainly deserve to be honored. Butch Miller isn't in the best of health and this will surely be his final public appearance. Luke Williams is still working and gets huge pops on the indy scene. They were a big part of WWF when they were there with all sorts of crossover appearances, merchandise, etc. At the end of the day, WWE isn't about amazing matches but unique characters and they were certainly memorable. They belong in.

It's obvious WWE has no use for Luke Harper and Erick Rowan other than jobbing them out to the upper echelon. I thought it was a big mistake to break up the Wyatt Family all along and now it's even more obvious. Harper and Rowan are going nowhere but down the card, sadly. They need to reunite with Bray and chase the tag titles. Agree?

I think Harper is doing far better than Rowan but man, they really did pull the trigger way too early by breaking up The Wyatt Family.

Should WWE sign Samoa Joe to a deal, have him run in Sunday, cost Bryan the match, play up the Samoan connection between Joe and Reigns (since all Samoans must be related in WWE), then have Brian/Joe at Mania? The fans would be satiated enough by that match that they wouldn't crap all over reigns/lesnar and they would have an instant top heel in Joe.

It's an interesting idea but I think WWE would assume that the average fan watching wouldn't know who Joe was. I don't see them ever introducing someone that quickly.
