WHAT VINCE DIDN’T DO WITH BRYAN, SMACKDOWN CAN BE GOOD, WHY DARREN YOUNG SHOULDN’T HAVE SAID WHAT HE DID WHERE HE DID AND MORE

Ok, this might sound crazy and it probably is but what if Vince knew about the reaction Daniel Bryan was going to receive at the Rumble and eliminated him early so fans would rally behind him? Think about it, you get all the fans angry by doing that and then they will be really surprised when Bryan finally earns his spot into the main event at Wrestlemania.

Well, he at least knew the reaction it would get. That is why he brought The Rock on to try and quell the outrage. It didn’t work out that way. But his intent was not what you said. In the old days, it would have been exactly why he did it. In 2015, it was not.

Was that not the best Smackdown you've seen in a minute or what?! Solid wrestling with reason. I also think Roman may just be loosening up guys. Coming into his own. Which I'm happy about. We are all better off with him succeeding. We need more headlining capable wrestlers.

It just goes to show that if they book the show as if it matters, people will think it matters.

When WWE condemned Darren Young for using his WWE social media accounts to address the anti-gay situation in U.A.E., it struck me as slightly hypocritical. I remember the media appearances he did, being promoted as the first openly gay, active WWE performer, and WWE seemingly taking advantage of the exposure. Now, it seems that he's being told to keep quiet about his sexuality. Does it seem strange that they took advantage of his lifestyle when it was beneficial to the company, but now the corporate tune seems to have changed?

You could definitely make that argument. But they would say that since it’s a company account, they want to have approval of what is on there. And certainly there are not many companies that would allow people that work for them to go on a company sponsored social media account and attack the way the company does business. I don’t disagree with anything that Young said, but I do see why WWE would not want that said on an account that they sponsor and what is posted gets placed on their website. I think he should have said it on a personal Twitter account.

As of today (2/12), do you go with Reigns or Bryan winning? I would go with Reigns because you need to see what he can do. I don't have that much faith in him, but I would not change it. Having said that, if Vince goes with a singles match and that singles match is Reigns v. Lesnar, do you put that on last or would you go with HHH/Sting, the possible Taker/Wyatt match, or some other match? I am not sure I would have faith in Reigns-Lesnar being able to be a solid closing match. Reigns is starting is like Goldberg in that I don't think he can go 20-30 minutes in a main event and that is actually something we haven't seen yet from Reigns, which really worries me for WM. He should have at least two, maybe three 20-30 minute matches under his belt by now.

Tough Call. Bryan deserved a real chance at the top of the card, which he never got. But they also need to create new talent. Personally, I would have Bryan beat Reigns in a very, very close match, selling that Reigns is still new to the business and is an up and comer. It would make a lot of the fans happy and would help in Reigns elevation. Bryan vs. Lesnar could be awesome. I put the Title match on last on every show except The Royal Rumble. The championship should trump all.

I have seen you two comment on MITB and how it has run its course, but I think it just needs to be upgraded. If you were in control, what do you think? Instead of having the briefcase and cashing in whenever the MITB winner wants, the match would be a set up for a #1 contender's match, specifically at Summer Slam. I think it could add credence to both MITB and Summer Slam. I will agree with you in that MITB, in its current form has run its course.

I do hate the 24-7 aspect. It often leads to a weak title victory for a heel and it usually doesn’t elevate them at all. I like the idea of an announced match, but I like doing it with a certain amount of time’s notice, say 24 hours. or something like that.
