Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and John Layfield recap what happened at the end of the Royal Rumble match as Roman Reigns goes to the back.
They talk about the Rumble match, but Jerry brings up the WWE Title match. Jerry and John are in awe of what they saw.
Tom Phillips is with John Cena in the interview area. John says he was face to face with a chance to win the championship. He tried to tell Seth many times how dangerous Brock is. Brock is his own entity. They both gave it everything. He wonders who will stop Brock Lesnar. What is next for John Cena.
Rusev takes the mic and he pushes Cena while saying something in Bulgarian. They get face to face and have to be separated. I think we have a Wrestlemania match.
We go to the Kickoff Show Panel and they talk about the WWE Title Match. Corey says that they redefined what it means to be the WWE Champion. They left it all in the ring. Corey says it was a great contest. Renee says Seth looked like he had it in the back. Byron says he thought they saw a clinic on how to tame a beast, but Brock rises almost from the dead. He wonders how can you beat this man?
Renee asks what is the game plan for Paul Heyman. Booker says Paul is the modern day Don King. He walks in with the champion and walks out with the champion.
We go to the announce table. Cole asks if this match lived up to expectations. John says it was. Cole talks about how Kane has the most eliminations and Big Show is in the top five.
They talk about the surprises in the Rumble match.
Jerry and John comment on Cole’s voice issues. Jerry says that he cannot predict things and he wants to let things sink in. John wonders if anyone can beat Brock. Cole mentions the damage that Lesnar took during the match.
We go to Roman Reigns in the back with the Rock. Tom Phillips congratulates Roman on the victory. Rock says it is an incredible moment. This is a Samoan pancake. Rock tells Tom to ask smarter questions. Roman says that he doesn’t want to talk about Mania because he is living in the moment. Roman says that you have to fall back on family.
Rock says WWE is his family and he wanted to watch his family win. He was proud of Roman. Rock says it is hard to compete in the Royal Rumble. You have Big Show and Kane double choke slam him so he had to do the right thing.
Roman says he is going to take a moment to heal to get ready for Brock Lesnar. He is going to study tape to face Lesnar. His goal is to walk out of Wrestlemania as the WWE Champion.
Rock says it is family first. Rock says that Roman is going to whoop Brock’s ass . . . Rock looks around to see if Brock is around and he says Roman will win.
