WRESTLEMANIA 32, ROYAL RUMBLE, TRIPLE H, LATEST LAWSUIT GETTING ATTENTION AND LOTS MORE WWE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2015-01-21 10:16:26
Obviously, a lot of media attention to WWE bringing Wrestlemania to Dallas next year locally in that market. With WWE wanting to crack 100,000 fans live, it's going to truly be an "all hands on deck" sort of event.

The WWE Hall of Fame is expected to sell out, literally, any day now.

There will be a Royal Rumble Fallout broadcast on the WWE Network following this Sunday's PPV. That, of course, is subject to change if the PPV runs long.

FOXNews.com picked up the story of Triple H breaking character to console a fan at ringside during the Raw main event at this link. If you didn't get the chance, I highly advise you read Dave Scherer's column about WWE from yesterday regarding this subject. He nails it, dead on.

The Triple H story was also front and center on The Yahoo.com homepage this morning. Thanks to Allen for sending that along.

The lawsuit filed by Big Vito and Adam Mercer against WWE has gotten a TON of mainstream media attention after being picked up by The Associated Press yesterday.

Brian Ashley sent word that the 1/27 Smackdown taping in Boston, MA is advertising John Cena & Randy Orton & Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins & Kane & Big Show & Bray Wyatt as the main event. That is likely a dark match, but we will see.

Scheduled for Friday's WWE Superstars:
*Fandango vs. Sin Cara.
*Cameron vs. Naomi.

WWE has apparently sold out whatever inventory of CM Punk merchandise it had left, as there's nothing listed for him on the WWEShop website.

Following up on what we wrote yesterday about NXT talents potentially being in the Royal Rumble match this Sunday in Philadelphia, several readers sent word that WWE issued a survey asking which NXT stars fans would like to see in the Rumble featuring Adrian Neville, Kalisto, Hideo Itami, Finn Balor, Adrian Neville, Bull Dempsey, Tyler Breeze, Enzo Amore, and Sami Zayn as potential entrants.
