I'm sitting at home now watching "12 Days of Attitude " in WWE Network. I  know it's a whole new year and era. But " WOW " I can't believe how good Raw and Smackdown was compare to now. For 1 minute I thought I was watching Wrestlemania or something. I can't believe how many people were in Raw and Smackdown compare to now. And I also notice how it was in a bigger stadium. Why can't we bring the "Attitude " back to WWE. Imagine WWE Attitude  lol. Sorry if I change the whole subject. But this is a question that I needed no ask for a while. And just don't know where to ask it. We just need to bring back Raw and Smackdown to what it was before. It was fun to watch. Don't get me wrong I've been a fan for a long time. But it would be what's best for business lol

The Attitude Era probably won’t come back due to the change the company has made to being more PG, but that doesn’t mean that the writing style can’t be changed. Just watch NXT and you will see that there are people in the company that understand who to write storylines and get characters over. But what you see now is Vince McMahon’s vision. During the Attitude Era he was at war for the company’s survival with WCW so he was more open to doing things outside of his vision of the business. With that competition gone, we get what he wants to show us.

What was the point of Sting making a 5min cameo appearance with no buildup whatsoever. He sends the Authority packing...and then no followup. They just mention hus name every week? Do they bring him back leading the newly fired Ryback, Ziggler and Rowan in a new outlaw type faction against the Authority?

The point was to set him up for WrestleMania season. It was also to show the people getting the free month of the WWE Network that “anything can happen”.

Is there any chance of Batista coming back for WrestleMania season? I heard him say on Talk Is Jericho that he would love to come back but his last run was disappointing. I think Reigns vs Batista could be a great way of getting Reigns over opposed to against Brock Lesnar were he will probably be boo’d out of the arena.

Given his commitments in Hollywood right now, I don’t see it happening. He has a chance to be a legitimate movie star, it makes no sense to come back to wrestling at this time.

I like the idea of unstoppable villains in a storyline, leaving the heroes to really up their game (because marvel and disney has brainwashed us all).  All joking aside, i loved the idea of Seth saying "I'm still gonna kill him" and how they held that hostage situation.  I thought it was really ballsy for a PG company to do.  Could it have been better in any other direction right now? Of course, but i'm actually a fan of the direction they go in.  My question is this. People clamor for the attitude era, and as soon as starts start presenting that state of performance, the fans find another thing to complain about. I feel like the fans are going to cannibalize any attempt Vince might make to meet us half way, your thoughts?

I have been calling for heels to be more credible for years now. I am sick of cowards that run away and/or need help from multiple people to win. With that said, I have largely hated how they have booked Seth Rollins because until the Edge angle, that is exactly how Vince has booked him. I would love to see more heels booked as legitimate and see the faces overcome another fighter to beat them. It would be a nice change but I don’t think Vince is trying to meet us halfway at this time. Other than Brock Lesnar, and to a lesser degree Rusev, I would be hard pressed to point to heels that look like they are legitimate. When that is the case, it kills interest in the matches.

As always great job with the site. How do you feel about The Ascension?. They seem as a joke - especially after they made reference the Road Warriors. I didnt see them in NXT so I cant comment on their ability. The gimmick can be awesome, but when I see the wrestlers they don’t seem legit tough guys, their body isn’t toned nor their size tells the audience that they are dominating. Great gimmick but maybe given to wrong wrestlers? Maybe I am missing something here. Thanks

I tend to agree with you. They need to show me more. They work a little light to be dominating guys. Ryback, for example, would be a lot more believable in the gimmick.
