WHAT DID A FREE MONTH OF THE WWE NETWORK MEAN FOR SURVIVOR SERIES PPV BUYS?

The 2014 WWE Survivor Series garnered in the area of 100,000 traditional PPV buys, according to the latest data released by WWE on their corporate website.

That would be down from 179,000 buys for the 2013 PPV, although that show took place prior to the launch of the WWE Network.

This year's show took place during the Network's "free month" and featured the WWE debut of Sting.
