WOULD AN NXT WRESTLER DECLINE A CALL UP TO THE MAIN ROSTER, WHY YOU HAVE BEEN HIT IN THE HEAD TOO MUCH IF YOU ARE A UFC FIGHTER AND DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY SIGNED CM PUNK, WHY CENA-LESNAR MUST END AND MORE

Do you think that CM Punk's recent statements about WWE's Doctor and their alleged lack of care for his concussion, will have any bearing on the Billy Jack Haynes concussion lawsuit?  One would think that with Haynes claiming that WWE has a history and pattern of deception regarding their knowledge of and treatment of concussions, that Punk's comments couldn't have come at a worse time for WWE.  Thoughts?

That is apples and spaceships. Billy Jack competed in an extremely low impact era of WWF programming. I don’t remember him ever doing anything close to dynamic, impactful spots. Plus, in the 80s (and 90s for that matter), very little was known about the effects of concussions. In my view, what he is asserting now is taking scientific facts that were not in evidence at the time and trying to apply them. The WWF couldn’t have been “hiding” what they didn’t even know at the time.

After watching NXT Takeover: R Evolution and TLC,S do you think any of the NXT roster would refuse to be called up to work a much better program?

Only if they wanted to be fired. I get what you are saying, Vince has destroyed a ton of the young guys when they came up to the main roster, but if they were to refuse a promotion to the main roster that would be the kiss of death for them in the company.

Whilst I understand the reason behind Cena winning the title at MITB so he could face Lesnar at Summerslam. But wouldn't it have been better to save Cena vs Brock for Wrestlemania? It may have boosted short term network subscribers around Summerslam, but long term seeing this match yet again has become annoying. Why not have Brock defend against Orton?

I don’t think so. I think the buzz is already off of their feud and it needs to be over soon. I think there would be much less interest in those two wrestling each other at Mania, rather then them working with other people.

What are your thoughts on the criticism to the whole deal on that bringing in a guy with an 0-0 record and no experience cheapens UFC?  I've heard what Nate Diaz said, and while I love Punk, I see his point.  I know this question is more MMA than wrestling but I want your take.

I think that anyone who says that has no idea how business works. It is not like Punk is going into the main event, he will fight another new fighter. He has major name value and will sell at least one PPV to people that want to see how he does in the Octagon. I think anyone that doesn’t understand why it’s a good move for UFC has been hit in the head too many times.

Why can't we have just one tag feud where the wrestlers are kept apart until they have a pay per view blow off? Say, if Usos and Miz/Mizdow are to go at it for the tag belts, why don't they have both teams destroy everyone in their path until they meet, giving the match more credibility in the long run. Instead we see any combination of the four competitors fighting on every show, rendering the PPV match pointless as we've already seen the good spots one million times over.

The same thing happens with the singles feuds. It's the nature of the beast when they have five hours of first run network TV to fill each week (and that doesn't count Main Event).
