When Eric Bischoff was handing out those large money contracts wasn't there anyone in WCW who could have seen the long term writing on the wall and try to stop him or say, hey tone it down a little bit?  Wasn't there a supervisor he had to run this all through or did they just not care as long as they got who they wanted to get and beat WWE at any cost literally?

The hierarchy at Time Warner wasn’t the best where WCW was concerned. And to be fair, Bischoff took it from being a dog to being a revenue generator, so he was given a lot of leeway. By the time he showed he had no follow up for the nWo angle, the contracts were in place and everything kind of blew up in a hurry. Point is, at one time the contracts weren’t too out of line with what the company was generating, but then that all changed in a hurry.

I understand that Punk is genuinely done with the business based on all that he said in the Cabana interview. Is it just me that sees the irony that now he is completely done he is probably in a great position to get a main event at Wrestlemania? I thought at the time he walked away that it was probably a good way of getting the main event and after seeing all the buzz following the podcast I can see a scenario where he came back and got a main event Mania match.

Yes, it certainly is ironic isn’t it? If he somehow moves on to UFC and does well (and more importantly sells PPVs), his value would become even more.

Let me get this straight, Dolph nearly eliminated the entire authority team single-handedly. Cena is putting him over, the crowd goes ballistic every single time his theme hits and Sting gives him the thumbs up by helping him, yet his thank you is an I.C. title match? Isn't that kind of beneath him? Vince swears up and down he's not out of touch...but Ziggler got nothing for his hard work. This is driving me insane!

Relax, that loss didn’t hurt him at all. Give it time. I understand your trepidation, given the way they have booked him in the past, but let’s see what happens.

I’ve just watched the brilliant Austin/McMahon podcast on the WWE Network, and one thing that struck me was when Vince stated that with it being a different era to when Stone Cold was on Raw/Smackdown every week, that Sting/Lesnar don’t have to be featured regularly. That’s all well and good, but why doesn’t the same apply to Kurt Angle who was offered a full time deal, and a deal opposite to the type that Vince was saying aren’t needed in this day and age?

The bottom line is that Lesnar means way more than Angle does at this point. Angle is at the tail end of his career. Sure, Sting is older, but there is mystery with him that just isn’t there with Kurt. And believe me if they could have Lesnar full time, they would take it in a second. They take him part time because that is their only option.

I have a couple Questions about  about Cesaro, What happened with Paul Heyman as his manager?  What happened to the giant swing?  And I never really liked that flapjack finisher, don't you think a flying forearm, or a move where he throws the guy in the air and hit him with the forearm would go over better and better showcase what makes him different?

They screwed up by putting Heyman with him in the first place. That was the time to turn him face. The crowd was behind him. But as Vince said on the podcast, Cesaro is missing something. Unfortunately, Vince McMahon is the only one who sees it that way and Cesaro pays the price.
