For those who asked where the WWE Survivor Series Fallout special was last night, WWE yanked it as the PPV was running late. I would assume anything major that was slated for the special will instead be placed on tonight’s Raw instead.
WWE officially announced Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose in a TLC bout for the TLC PPV.
There is a very important reason that bout was advertised last night during the Survivor Series. WWE went into last night’s PPV with a plan specifically to get those who were using the free trial this month and entice them into becoming paid subscribers. Part of that plan was announcing the big match for the following month (which was literally taken right out of the old school WWWF playbook of having a main event with a disputed finish with a major babyface before intermission and having Howard Finkel announce the big stipulation before the show ended). WWE also announced the Vince McMahon-Steve Austin podcast for Monday 12/1 for that same reason – they wanted to entice fans who were watching for free with the content they would be getting if they remain as subscribers. It’s all about getting free subscribers to remain.
The WWE Network will be adding a section for it’s original Youtube programming this week as well as a section for Tribute to the Troops, which we mentioned over the weekend here on PWInsider.com.
WWE Network will broadcast a Raw Pre-Game Show. After Raw will be the “10 Hours to Houston†special on the Usos, which is listed as capturing the brothers’ “compelling story†following them from childhood to their current WWE run.
Steven Fernandes reporting…. On Saturday night's UFC show, one of the fighters walked out to "Badstreet USA", while another walked out to Brood's entrance theme.
