HOW WHEN THE MONDAY NIGHT WAR TALKS ABOUT WCW THEY COULD BE TALKING ABOUT WWE NOW, WAS ENDING THE STREAK THE RIGHT MOVE, WHEN WWE AND LOGIC COLLIDE, AND MORE

Do you think it would be good if the WWE would split raw kinda like it was in the attitude era where you had raw and then raw is war. The first two hours could be "family friendly" with a man event and the third hour would cater to the older wrestling fan with another man event match.

I would love it but WWE has deals with kid-friendly companies, like Mattel, so they are limited in how far they can take things.

Was watching WM30 again on the Network...my initial reaction was hating the end of the steak, I saw the decision as extremely short-sighted. Watching it again...and knowing what's gone down since, didn't it seem like a terrible decision?  I mean, there's only so many things that are truly special in the business and I feel they extinguished the most special aspect of them all for basically no reason. You could build Brock as a monster, which he is, in a million different ways...

I don’t think we can say for sure until we see what they do with Brock Lesnar. If they use Lesnar’s ending the Streak and beating John Cena to a pulp as a way to elevate a young talent, then you could make a case that it was a good decision. Vince pulled the trigger to show “anything could happen on The Network”. That hasn’t done much, if anything, to get people to buy the Network in my opinion.

If it's a 'tag team street fight' with no disqualifications, why bother tagging in and out? That really bothered me.

That is a great point and one of those things that happens in the business that infuriates those of us that like logic. I have never seen a street fight in real life where guys follow rules!

While watching the Monday Night Wars a point keeps being made, that WCW only cared about the ratings and would do constant rewrites to the show, the day of, and keep the same people on top.. Isn't this the exact mindset that WWE appears to have as of late?

You are right on the money!

Lately I have been reading questions and comments about Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, the Dudleys and old WCW stars Nash and Hall saying that one attractive feature of leaving the WWE for say WCW or TNA is that they preferred the light schedule.  I have always wondered, if the traveling schedule for WWE is so brutal, why haven't they considered letting up on it?  Seems to me it would have helped CM Punk not burn out, it would keep guys like Brock happy, and possibly helped lower the amount of injuries they have like say to Daniel Bryan.  Has WWE ever considered that?  I mean how much of their business relies on house shows today say compared to 20 years ago or so?

The tours produce revenue and as long as they do, the companies will keep doing them. Basically, they expect that since the talent knows what they are getting into when they sign up, they will do the job that is expected of them. With that said, the travel is a huge grind and it does burn guys out. In a perfect world, WWE would get enough talent over where they could give people time off every few months. But until they get those people over, if they ever do, things will stay as they are.
