WWE RAW REPORT: DID THE CELL GET USED TONIGHT?; A FEW RETURNS; A LOT OF TALK ABOUT THE CELL MATCHES; AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2014-10-20 23:04:51
We begin this week’s show with a look back at last week’s main event where we found out who will face Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell inside the cell as well as the person who will face Randy Orton inside the cell at Hell in a Cell.

We are in Kansas City, Missouri and your announcers are Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and John Layfield.

We hear the cage lowering music as the cell lowers towards the ground.

Triple H, Randy Orton, Kane, and Seth Rollins make their way to the ring.

Hunter welcomes everyone to Raw. He says that this will be an epic night. A night The Authority can be proud of. Proud of all of you. Tonight, these three men will compete in this ring in a three on two handicap match Street Fight against John Cena and Dean Ambrose.

If Cena and Ambrose make it through tonight, hell is literally hanging over their heads. On Sunday night, Cena and Ambrose will go straight to hell . . . Hell in a Cell. The most ominous and destructive structure in the history of the WWE. Unspeakable things will happen inside this cell and you can watch it on the WWE Network.

Hunter says that he can speak from experience, the cell changes your life. It is not the type of match you win, even though he has won more Hell in a Cell matches than anyone alive. It is the kind of match you survive. This Sunday, this cell puts an end to two of the WWE’s most heated rivalries.

In one match, the face of the WWE, the Viper, Randy Orton will face the fifteen time WWE Champion John Cena. In the other Hell in a Cell match, the unstable Dean Ambrose will compete against Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins.

Seth says that he loves the moniker Mr. Money in the Bank. He says that he would like a new nickname. The Undisputed Future of the WWE. He says that has a good sound to it. The important word is future because that is something that Dean Ambrose will no longer have when he beats Dean in THE main event on Sunday.

Randy interrupts Seth and he says the true main event on Sunday will involve a few Superstars who have been around the WWE longer than a hot cup of coffee. Orton says that he will end the decade long rivalry with John Cena once and for all.

Hunter says that they are both in the main event because it is a double main event. While most people want to see Seth Rollins destroy Dean Ambrose inside Hell in a Cell, but Randy’s match will not only be the end to a decade long rivalry. The winner of the match will earn an opportunity with the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar.

Orton says today is turning out to be a great day. Randy says that while the Royals have not won in 29 years, and you won’t win this year or for another 29 years, he will make H proud tonight. He will beat John Cena on Sunday and then he will beat Brock.

Hunter says that he knows Randy will make him proud. He knows Seth will make him proud. He knows that Kane will make him proud. They will not only make him proud tonight, but they will make him proud on Sunday at Hell in a Cell.

Hunter says the Authority always wins.

Michael Cole brings up the feud between Miz and Sheamus and we go to footage from Main Event when Sheamus had someone join him in the ring for MizTV.

The Usos were in the Goldman Box and they say that they are ready to win back their tag team titles. Jimmy says that Goldust and Stardust will not see a shooting star in the sky, they will see a flying Uso.

Stardust and Goldust were in the Goldman Box too and they says that they will not disobey things and lose the cosmic key. Goldust says they are not science fiction, but science fact.

We are back and Triple H is in his office and Randy Orton enters. Randy says that he is not always the easiest to deal with, but Hunter did him right. Orton says that he has beaten Cena inside the cell and he will do it again. He will beat Brock Lesnar and he will go to Wrestlemania as the WWE World Champion.

Hunter says that it is a long time coming, but it was all Seth’s idea.

Orton does not believe Hunter but Hunter says he thought it was a good idea.

AJ with a Thesz Press and follows with a clothesline into the corner and a neck breaker. Alicia misses a clothesline and AJ with a head scissors that sends Alicia to the floor. After the match, Paige and Alicia celebrate their plan working out to give Alicia a victory.

Seth Rollins is in his locker room admiring his briefcase and Randy Orton enters and he tells Seth that he appreciates what he did. Randy wants to know why. Seth says that he is a team player. Orton tells Seth that he doesn’t need his help any more.

Seth tells Orton that he can end his rivalry against John Cena and if a miracle happens and he can beat Brock Lesnar, he will be the WWE Champion. Seth says the future kind of takes care of itself. Randy says the future will take care of itself.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Hulk Hogan will be interviewed on WWE Backstage Pass on the WWE Network.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring because he has something to say that could not be said at the start of the show.

On Sunday he faces John Cena in the most demonic structure the WWE has seen. They have met in the cell before so they know what to expect. Time really flies. It seems like only yesterday when it was 2002 when both of them were making their WWE debuts. He was third generation royalty while John Cena was some punk from Boston who thought he could rap.

Orton points out that the Royals will not win this year and they will not win in your lifetime.

John and him went on to become the top superstars of their generation. They were the progression from Hogan/Piper, Hart/Michaels, and Rock/Austin. He respects Cena, but he is still that jacked up punk kid from Boston who has no business being in the same ring as him. He says that he is better than John. He tells John to shove his hustle, loyalty and respect up his ass.

Orton says that he never cared about fighting for what is right. That is why the last time they faced each other on pay per view, it was earlier this year at the Royal Rumble, when he beat Cena. When he looks into John’s eyes, he will beat you at Hell in a Cell. Randy says that he will savor every second of it. Then he will go on to face the Beast . . .

John Cena’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

John tells Randy to shut up. John says everyone knows that Randy is gifted and that he is a future Hall of Famer. Every time he opens his cruddy pie hole, he proves that he is the biggest dumbass alive.

John does his old man ‘we walked to school uphill both ways’ speech and he says that it is no longer 2002. With all of the things going on in this city, you tell these people the Royals have no shot at winning the World Series. He might have been right in 2002. A lot happened in 2002 because that was the last time Randy has been relevant.

Now that it is 2014, the Royals are in the World Series and they have their eyes squarely on the World Series championship.

Orton says being in the World Series and winning it is completely different.

Cena agrees with Orton. It is like Orton will be in this match, but he has no chance to win. Cena says that he has his sights set on Seth Rollins because he cost him the title, but now he is focused on Orton because if he beats Randy on Sunday, he will get his hands on the beast.

On Sunday, you will be locked in the cell with a man on a mission. He will be in the cell with a man who only sees the face of Brock Lesnar. He will be facing the man who runs this place, and hell is coming with him.

Paul Heyman arrives on the stage and he introduces himself. The history being promulgated by WWE is laughable. The Class of 2002 featured Randy Orton, John Cena, and the man who conquered the Rock for the WWE Championship, the reigning, defending, and undisputed WWE Champion back in 2002, who is the current reigning, defending, and undisputed WWE Champion in 2014.

You will enter this structure on Sunday, hopefully to win and define your legacies, especially against each other. Each of you are stepping into Hell in a Cell with an equal, but Paul says his client has no equal. The winner of the match is the ultimate loser because you have to step into the ring with a beast, not a man.

Paul says that he has always respected Randy and how much he wants the WWE Title, you want no part of his beast.

John starts to leave the ring but Paul tells him he is not done. You want both the title and the beast. He does not know what John has on the brain, but it sure isn’t sound thinking. If you get past Randy Orton, then you have to step into the ring with his challenger eating carnivore BROCK LESNAR

John gets Paul up for the Attitude Adjustment but he lets him down. Orton hits an RKO on Cena and Orton wants to know “Who’s Stupid Now”.

After talking to Heyman for a little bit, Orton gives Heyman an RKO. Orton wants to know ‘Who’s the Dumbass Now’

We take a look at what happened last week on Raw between Big Show, Mark Henry, and Rusev.

Lana and Rusev walk in the back as we go to commercial.
