COMPLETE RING OF HONOR TELEVISION REPORT: IS THE DECADE SHOWING CRACKS?; HANSON IN SINGLES ACTION; COLE VS. ALEXANDER

Tonight’s show starts off with Adam Cole talking about his match with Cedric Alexander. He says that they use promise and potential when talking about you, but that will not help you against a former World Champion. He will get his title back and Cedric will find out what it feels like to face the best wrestler on the planet.

We are in Wheeling, West Virginia and your announcers are Kevin Kelly and Caprice Coleman.

Match Number One: Romantic Touch versus Hanson

Touch tries to kiss Hanson’s hand during the handshake before the match and Hanson swings and misses. Touch gets into the ropes. Hanson with a hip lock takedown and then he puts Touch on the top turnbuckle and he punches Touch in the midsection and follows with a seated splash into the corner.

Touch goes to the apron but Hanson brings him back into the ring. Touch escapes a neckbreaker and Hanson with a cartwheel but Touch with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Touch with a kick to the head and then he connects with a knee drop and he gets a near fall. Touch with a forearm to the back and knees to the head. Touch with a quarter nelson and chin lock but Hanson with elbows. Touch with knees and a front face lock.

Hanson sends Touch away and then he sends Touch to the mat and hits a splash. Hanson with an Irish whip but Touch floats over and he tries for a monkey flip but Hanson with a cartwheel and clothesline. Hanson hits the spinning heel kick for the three count.

Winner: Hanson

Jimmy Jacobs talks about getting their shots at the tag titles. Roderick Strong points out that they will become tag team champions again. Jimmy says that they will show that they will not rest on their laurels and they have made this company turn for the last ten years.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jay Briscoe says that there were two people he hoped would have won the Honor Rumble, Adam Cole and Michael Bennett. He says that Michael still has a piece of his property so he is coming for it.

Adam Cole, Michael Bennett, and Maria Kanellis make their way to the ring and he holds Maria’s furry belt.

Michael Bennett reminds everyone that he was the winner of the Honor Rumble, while Adam Cole does not appear happy about that result. Not only is he the winner of the Honor Rumble, he is the holder of the Title of Love. Every kingdom needs its crown. After he beats Jay Briscoe, they will have two crowns. They will have the Title of Love and Michael will be the World Champion.

Adam takes the mic and he tells Mike that as happy as he is for him, this was not part of the plan. Michael says the plan was to get the title in the kingdom. Adam says every kingdom has its king and you are looking at that king. Maria whispers something in Cole’s ear.

Adam tells Mike he knows that he will do the right thing and give Jay Briscoe the beating of his life and you will do it for the Kingdom. They shake hands and Maria raises their hands in the center of the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and the Decade is in the ring. Jimmy Jacobs welcomes everyone to the house that the Decade built. They are worried about the next decade of Ring of Honor and that is why Tadarius Thomas and Adam Page were taken under their wings. They are here to help out the younger generation. He tells Adam and Tadarius they have a chance in a match against each other. He wants to see something inside from each of them. It is a No Disqualification Match because he wants to see some excitement and action. He tells them to seize the opportunity.

Page gets some advice from Whitmer while Jacobs gives Thomas some advice. Roderick is at ringside and he doesn’t really care about either of them.

Match Number Two: Adam Page versus Tadarius Thomas in a No Disqualification Prove it to Jimmy Jacobs Match

They lock up and Thomas with a waist lock and they get into the ropes and for some reason, Thomas breaks the hold. Jacobs goes under the ring and he gets a trash can. Strong puts a chair into the ring. Page and Thomas go for the weapons and Page and Thomas exchange punches. Thomas holds on to the ropes and he sends Page to the apron. Page flips back into the ring and Thomas with a back heel kick after avoiding a clothesline from Page.

Page goes to the floor and Thomas with a suicide dive onto Page. Thomas Irish whips Page into the guardrails and then he hits a running kick to the upper chest against the guardrails. Thomas with forearms but Page Irish whips Thomas into the guardrails and Page throws a chair at Thomas before sending him back into the ring.

Page kicks Thomas but Thomas hits Page with the lid of the trash can. Page hits Thomas with a mop but Thomas kicks Page when he runs at him with a chair. Page blocks a kick and then he tries to knock Thomas off the turnbuckles, but he get a leg caught in the turnbuckle. Page gets the chair and he hits Thomas in the leg with the chair and it sends Thomas to the floor, much to the delight of the members of The Decade.

Page picks up Thomas and sends him knee first into the ring post. Page sets up some chairs in the ring and Thomas tries for an inside cradle but Page blocks it. Thomas blocks a suplex onto the chairs. Thomas with a rollup for a near fall. Thomas with a forearm followed by a German suplex onto a chair and Jimmy Jacobs turns into Truth Martini as he does a lap around the ring. Thomas stands over Page with the chair in his hands and he hits Page in the back with the chair.

Thomas hits Page with another chair shot to the back. Thomas sets to hit Page again but he hesitates. Jacobs, Whitmer, and Strong get on the apron and Page tells Thomas to hit him. Thomas hits Jacobs with the chair instead and knocks him off the apron. Thomas leaves the ring.

No Contest

We go to commercial.

We are back and Nigel McGuinness has replaced Caprice Coleman at the announce table. Kevin and Nigel talk about Will Ferrara eliminating Jay Lethal in the Honor Rumble. Next week, during Championship Week, Will Ferrara will face Jay Lethal for the ROH Television Title. Jimmy Jacobs and Roderick Strong will face Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly for the ROH Tag Titles. Jay Briscoe defends the Ring of Honor World Title against Michael Bennett.

Match Number Three: Cedric Alexander versus Adam Cole

They lock up and Cole with a wrist lock and Alexander with a reversal. Cole rolls through and he reverses into a hammer lock. Cole with a side head lock take down. Alexander with a head scissors but Cole escapes and he returns to the side head lock. Cole with a clean break in the corner.

Cole with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Alexander with an arm drag and drop kick that forces Cole to the floor to regroup. Alexander mocks Cole and we go to commercial.

We are back and Alexander misses a chop. Cole misses a chop but Alexander does not miss the second time. Alexander gets a near fall. Alexander with forearms and a chop. Alexander climbs the turnbuckles and he punches Cole a total of ten times. Cole with an Irish whip but Alexander gets his boots up. Cole pushes Alexander off the turnbuckles and Cedric lands awkwardly on the floor.

Cole sends Alexander into the guardrails. Cole rolls Alexander back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Alexander with forearms and chops. Alexander with a head scissors and Cole is sent to the floor. Cole returns to the ring to stop a dive to the floor and Cole with a sleeper and he gets Alexander to the mat. Cole turns it into a reverse chin lock. Alexander with punches but Cole with a forearm and punches. Cole with a hard Irish whip and Cole poses.

Cole with a forearm followed by another hard Irish whip. Cole with a forearm and he tries for another Irish whip but Alexander stops short and he hits an elbow. Cole tries for the Florida Key but Alexander escapes. Alexander with a step up enzuigiri from the turnbuckles and both men are down.

Alexander with punches and forearms while he avoids punches from Cole. Alexander with chops and a suplex but he holds on and rolls through for one more. Cole escapes the third but Alexander with a springboard tornado DDT but Cole kicks out. Alexander signals for the Lumbar Check but Cole with a side head lock and elbows to the back of the head.

Cole has a super kick blocked and Alexander with an Air Raid Crash set up into a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. We go to commercial.

We are back and Alexander with chops in the corner. Cole holds on to the ropes on an Irish whip attempt and Alexander with a chop. Alexander with a back heel kick and he goes to the turnbuckles for a step up enzuigiri but Cole with a super kick. Cole tries for the figure four but Alexander kicks him away. Cole with a Shining Wizard for a near fall.

Cole tries for a suplex but Alexander blocks it. Alexander with head butts to Cole but Alexander is a bit woozy. Cole with a bicycle kick but Alexander with a leaping round kick and Cole falls to the floor. Alexander with a flip dive onto Cole and both men are down on the floor.

Alexander rolls Cole back into the ring and Alexander goes up top but he takes a bit too long and Cole gets his knees up on the frog splash. Cole with a shoulder breaker from a suplex position but Alexander kicks out. Cole pulls down the knee pad but he misses the Shining Wizard and Alexander with a rollup. Alexander misses Kick to Kill Part Two and Cole applies the Figure Four Leg Lock.

Alexander tries to fight through the pain and he rolls to the ropes and he gets there, forcing Cole to release the hold. Alexander kicks Cole away a few times when Cole tries for the figure four a second time. Alexander with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Alexander goes for a springboard move but he is met with a super kick and Cole can only get a two count. Cole with another super kick and Alexander kicks out again.

Alexander blocks a super kick and Alexander pushes him to the mat and Alexander with a running drop kick into the corner. Alexander hobbles around the ring and hits a second drop kick into the corner. He goes for a third but he leaps into a super kick. Cole with a Twist of Fate for the three count.

Winner: Adam Cole
