WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: WATCH WHAT DAMIEN SANDOW DOES; CHAMPIONS IN NON-TITLE MATCHES; WHO NEEDS FRIENDS?; THE GOLDMAN BOX EARNS ITS MONEY THIS WEEK

By Richard Trionfo on 2014-10-17 22:00:04
This week’s show starts off with a look back at last week’s Raw and Dean Ambrose’s continuing quest to get his hands on Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell, his goal being achieved, and then having the other two guys in the storyline get the ‘Main Event’ of the pay per view.

We are in Birmingham, Alabama and your announcers are Michael Cole, John Layfield, and Tom Phillips.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and he has his Money in the Bank briefcase with him.

Seth is told that he sold out before he gets a chance to talk and Seth joins in on the chant. He wants everyone else to keep it coming. He says you are damn right he sold out. When you are young and naïve, lofty principles, integrity and honor mean the world to you. Honor doesn’t pay the bills. If any of you cowards had any guts, you would realize you would sell out your mother, father, dog, or grandparents. Seth says that you would sell out your brothers, your best friends, and anyone and anything to be anything like him.

The major fault in that logic is that you will never be like him. You will never look like him. You will never talk like him. You will never be as successful as he has become. That is because you will never realize what he has come to understand. Selling out is the best thing that you can do in your life.

Seth says that he is better than he has ever been. He is Mr. Money in the Bank. He is the future of the WWE. That brings him to his Hell in a Cell match with Dean Ambrose. He is only going to say this once so he will be very clear. Dean Ambrose, you do not belong at Hell in a Cell. You belong in a straitjacket. You may walk into Hell in a Cell, but Seth guarantees that Dean will be carried out.

Mark his words, when he is finished with Dean Ambrose, all of your hopes and dreams will be left in a pile of rubble in that cell. You will be nothing more than a hot, sweaty, smelly mess.

Seth says that he sold out. He sold Dean Ambrose out, but at Hell in a Cell, he is going to put Dean out.

Dolph Ziggler’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring for his match against Rollins. We see footage of Orton’s victory over the Intercontinental Champion followed by Seth’s Black Out to Ziggler.

Dolph tells Seth that the sound you hear is the sound you hear when people want to see something. You wouldn’t know anything about that because Dean Ambrose isn’t out here. When you sell out, you get the money and the fame. There is one thing way more important that you cannot get and that is priceless. You get self respect.

Seth asks if anyone really cares about respect. Did respect do anything for you when I curb stomped your face into oblivion on Monday night? Respect won’t save you tonight and neither will showing off for the people.

Ziggler with a drop kick and the referee has to hold Ziggler back before he can get everything out of the ring and get this match started.

After the match, Dean Ambrose comes to the ring and he has his contract from Monday night with him.

Rollins leaves the ring and Dean asks Seth why is he running. Dean says that he is here to chat. He finally got what he has been foaming for. He has Seth Rollins trapped inside Hell in a Cell, the most demonic structure in the WWE. He will make the most of it. He will turn Seth inside out. He will rip Seth’s face clean off. He will take his left boot and jam it down Seth’s throat. He will take his right boot, his lucky boot, and he will stick that where the sun don’t shine. After that, what he is going to do next, he cannot even say it on this show.

Kane’s music plays and he appears on the stage. He tells Dean that it is true that they will be competing at Hell in a Cell. Kane says that he doesn’t have a match, so that is making him ‘aggressive’. Kane says that he likes hurting people. The shrieks of terror make him sleep at night. He would like to hear Dean scream in pain tonight in the main event when you face . . . me.

We go to commercial with AJ Lee skipping in the back.

Kane is in his office and Seth Rollins enters. He tells Kane to leave a little piece of Dean Ambrose.

Kane tells Seth he has never experienced Hell in a Cell and neither has Dean Ambrose. Kane says that both of you are facing first time apocalypse. He says that he does not think that either of them understand the punishment and pain you will get. Kane says that him, Orton, and Seth will inflict some damage on Cena and Ambrose on Raw. Kane tells Seth to watch him tonight because he may learn something tonight. He says that he knows that Ambrose will.

It is about sweeping up the floor with their opponents. Sheamus says the only stars Goldust, Stardust, and Miz will be seeing are the ones circling around their heads.

We see the Erick Rowan has moved on video package from Bray Wyatt.

The Goldman Box is busy tonight because Stardust and Goldust stopped by earlier today for comments. Stardust says the stars have spoken without saying a word. The kick against the cosmic current is futility. In space no one can hear your scream, but on Earth, your agony will be deafening.

Big Show walks in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and Big Show makes his way to the ring.

Show says that he could watch that over and over. He says he wants to share a few things tonight. He says that if you haven’t figured it out, he is a giant and he sticks out in the crowd some times. Growing up as a kid he was 6 foot 2 and weighed 220 pounds at 12 years old. Responsibility is thrust upon you at an early age. You need to adapt. Show says that he accepts the responsibility of pinning Rusev at Hell in a Cell on his shoulders. He has beaten Rusev, but he has not pinned him. He has knocked him out twice and the third time will be the charm.

On Raw, his best friend and brother from another mother, Mark Henry got a little emotional and he got involved, causing a disqualification. Big Show says that he would like Mark to come to the ring to talk man to man and friend to friend.

Show says that he is not afraid to hug Mark and he tells him that he smells good. He wonders if it is new cologne, but Mark says that he showered. They pull in and there was one parking spot left, but someone cut them off.

Mark says that he did have his shot at Rusev, but he tells Show that the guy is not human. He is something else. You come out here and you say that you are going to do something that he couldn’t do and that is a hard pill to swallow. Mark says it made him a little angry. If you want him to get out of Show’s business, he will get out of his business.

They hug and that means it is time for Rusev’s music to play.

Lana and the Russian flag join Rusev on the stage.

Lana calls this pathetic. Show and Mark Henry are the Goodyear blimps of the WWE. You are all blown up, full of gas, and very slow.

Rusev takes the mic and he tells Big Show after he beats him, the people will turn on you and they will no longer chant USA at you . . . just like your best friend Mark Henry did. You will disgrace yourself and your stupid USA. Rusev says that he would like that. He says that he will CRUSH Show.

Show tells Rusev that is enough and he says that Rusev is using a bootleg bogus Arnold Schwarzenegger accent. You want to talk about crushing his spine? You can’t crush it because it is American made. He is going to choke slam Rusev, hit Rusev in his glass jaw and then pin him one . . . two . . . three.
