ADS ON THE NETWORK, DOES CENA PRAISING AMBROSE HURT HIM, 3D VS. BULLET CLUB AND MORE

Perhaps it's because I'm older now and more 'aware', but I swear, if Cena 'sells' Ambrose as the next big thing each time he does a promo with him, it will be the death of Ambrose. I mean, when The Rock and Austin came into their own, no one ever had to make the case to the "Universe" for it. You never had Undertaker constantly putting these guys over in promos (perhaps his gimmick didn't allow for it) but it's just getting absurd. Cena did the same thing with Daniel Bryan. I don't know if it's a case of WWE just shoving Cena down our throats, or they merely threw out the organic way of making stars and just blatantly try to force the fans to like them?

I think that comes down to Vince McMahon believing that's a way to get the characters over, but I agree with you - it's always best to let the audience discover and support who they want to support. I don't think it's a case of pushing John Cena as much as the company feeling they need to do this. It all starts and ends with Vince McMahon.

Strange thing happened on the Malaysia tour, Cena's match with Bray Waytt was the curtain jerker. Why would the top star not be in the main event on an overseas tour? Was it a case of changing up the card (2 shows in the same arena over the weekend ), Cena wanting to take an early flight home or HHH wanting to push new guys (if feels like a HHH booked card with the NXT guys in the show)?

I think in the case of that match, it was wanting to have Cena traveling back to the United States.

Even if it was cut from the TNA Bound For Glory PPV, you reported that Team 3D called out The Bullet Club. Could this mean Team 3D who's TNA contract expired might be going to Jeff Jarrett's GFW?

It could be, or it could mean they were fishing for attention from New Japan Pro Wrestling.

So with the news that WWE is going to start playing advertisements on the Network, how long do you think it will be before we start seeing advertisements for the Network on the Network? Joking and limited business knowledge aside, isn't this a pretty big sign that the WWE Network isn't doing so hot? In my experience with VoD services, you pay because you want to get rid of ads. Hulu, Netflix, HBO (not a subscriber but I'd assume its the same), don't play ads because they're making up that revenue in subscription costs. That's the whole point, right?

Well, Hulu Plus features ads before and during shows, so your point is moot with that comparison. WWE's goal with the Network, as it is with anything, is to make money. Ads will help them (and in the few days since they have announced ads, we know of four partners who are buying them) and it will look good to stockholders.

Thinking about the situation, I believe the whole Big Show ripping down the Russian flag bit is all storyline. If it really caused an international incident, they wouldn't be replaying Show doing it over and over each week and want to let it fade away. With that said, don't you think it still IS disrespectful that they did that, let alone, keep showing it? Bad judgement when they did it...fine. But they keep replaying it, which shows they don't care.

It's absolutely storyline. I really wonder what Chris Jericho, who was suspended and fined for kicking a Brazilian flag, thinks of all that.

What is the point of JBL's constant putdowns of Mark Henry? Saying he "disgraced his country" by losing to Rusev not only buries Henry, it makes Rusev look weaker. Unless there's a storyline building to a Henry turning heel, perhaps with Bo Dallas as his mouthpiece, it just seems counterproductive to bury the go week after week.

JBL is a heel and one who's a proud American. It makes perfect sense for him to rip Henry. As far as a heel turn, I wouldn't be shocked.
