RAW MAIN EVENT IN BROOKLYN, SETH ROLLINS HOMECOMING, 'NO HOLDS BARRED' REMEMBERED AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-10-01 09:58:03

The advertised dark match main event for The Brooklyn, NY 10/6 Raw taping is John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins and Randy Orton.

The Quad-City Times featured a piece on Seth Rollins working in front of his hometown of Moline, IL over the weekend at this link. The story noted that about 100 of Rollins' friends and family attended the show, including several of his students at the training academy he founded with Marek Brave.

Actor Kurt Fuller was interviewed about his career on AVClub.com. His role in "No Holds Barred" was brought up and he referred to the film, as "one of those that’s so bad it’s good." On getting the role, Fuller said, "gain, an early job, and I still knew nothing about acting. I was a terrible actor, and that’s why I got the job: I would allow myself to be so bad that I lowered and got down to WWF standards. [Laughs.] I’m sort of this insane Donald Trump-like head of the network, and I was working with Hulk Hogan. I have nothing bad to say about Hulk Hogan. In fact, compared to what I have seen in the press and all the high jinks of his life, I didn’t see any of that coming, man. He was just a businessman who worked out, you know?" Fuller discusses working with Hogan and more in the interview, which you can read at this link.

Curtis Axel teased he would be returning to TV shortly on his Twitter account. He's been off TV since Ryback had his hernia surgery.
