WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: ARM WRESTLING; STUNT DOUBLES; PREVIEW OF NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS MATCHES; AND MORE

We begin this week’s show with a look back at the main event from Raw when Randy Orton faced Roman Reigns.

We are in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Michael Cole, and John Layfield.

Match Number One: Big Show, Mark Henry, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso versus Goldust, Stardust, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan

Goldust and Jimmy start things off and Jimmy runs Goldust into the turnbuckles and he punches and chops Goldust in the corner. Goldust with an Irish whip but Jimmy slides into the corner and Jimmy with an uppercut for a near fall. Goldust sends Jimmy into the corner and Stardust tags in and he kicks and punches Jimmy. Jimmy with a savate kick followed by a chop.

Jimmy with another chop and Jey tags in and he connects with a shoulder and he chops Stardust. Jey chokes Stardust in the ropes and he punches Stardust. Jey with a wrist lock but Jimmy tags in and he connects with a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Harper tags himself in and after an awkward stare between Stardust and Harper, Jimmy chops Harper.

Jimmy with a drop kick to Harper and Henry tags in. Henry with a head butt to Harper and then he drops down for a JYD head butt. Henry with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Henry with an Irish whip but Harper with a boot as he comes out of the corner. Harper gets a near fall. Wyatt makes his way to the ring but Show gets off the apron and Wyatt stops.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jimmy with a cross body and clothesline to Harper. Jimmy with an uppercut to Harper and he tries for a Samoan drop but Harper gets to his feet. Harper blocks a kick but Jimmy with a dragon whip and Harper falls into the corner. Jimmy sets for the running butt splash into the corner but Harper with a back drop that sends Jimmy to the floor when he cannot stay on the apron.

Jimmy holds his knee and Jey and the referee check on him in front of the announce table. Stardust sends Jimmy into the apron and he punches him before sending Jimmy into the announce table. Stardust gets a near fall. Goldust tags in and he punches Jimmy and applies an arm bar. Goldust with a clothesline to the back of the head and he gets a near fall.

Goldust with a kick to Jimmy and Harper tags in and he kicks Jimmy in the injured knee. Jimmy with a punch and chop but Harper pushes Jimmy into the ropes and Jimmy with a sunset flip for a near fall. Harper with a drop kick for a near fall. Rowan tags in and he gives Jimmy a knee drop. Rowan with a double atomic noogie. Jimmy with punches but Rowan with a knee. Jimmy with a Samoan drop and both men are down.

Goldust tags in and he keeps Jimmy from making the tag. Jimmy lands on his feet on a suplex attempt and Jimmy with an uppercut. Both men are down. Show and Stardust tag in and Show with a clothesline and Irish whips. Show with a running butt splash followed by a running shoulder tackle. Show grabs Stardust and Goldust but they kick Show and they hit a double suplex on Show.

Henry with a body block to take care of Goldust. Rowan and Harper take care of Henry and send him to the floor. Goldust joins in the attack on Henry. Jimmy with a plancha onto Harper, Rowan, and Goldust. Stardust goes for a double jump Beautiful Disaster. Stardust with a drop kick and Jey tags in. Show with a knockout punch followed by a superfly splash for the three count.

Winners: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Big Show, and Mark Henry

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at John Cena and Paul Heyman from Raw.

Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, and Kane are in the office and Kane says Raw was a resounding success. They gave Triple H an unforgettable season premiere. Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns won’t soon forget what happened to them on Monday.

Seth says that he knows what makes Roman tick. He can get inside his head. Tonight, we finish Roman Reigns for good.

Randy says that he likes that, but Chris Jericho said that he gets everything handed to him, but the beatdown on Raw will be nothing compared to what we do to that wannabe rock star tonight.

Kane says that is what is best for business.

Before our next match starts, Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger make their way to ringside to watch this match.

Match Number Two: Bo Dallas versus Justin Gabriel

The bell rings but Bo takes the mic and he says that it is funny some times. Most of you are going to be failures in your life. If you work hard and listen to what he says, you can be just like him. You can be America’s Sweetheart. He wants everyone to rise and place your right hand over your heart.

Zeb interrupts Bo and wonders if that is his real name. Zeb says that if Bo is America’s Sweetheart then he is Ariana ‘freaking’ Grande. He doesn’t even know who that is. He tells Bo to admit that he is running a scam. He should be on some late night infomercial selling his snake oil and bogus philosophy of his. Real Americans don’t need to BOLIEVE, they need to rise and put their hands over their hearts and say We the People.

They finally wrestle and Bo with a kick and forearms. Gabriel with a back heel kick and snap mare followed by a crucifix cover for a near fall. Gabriel with a La Magistral for a near fall. Bo sends Gabriel into the turnbuckles and he follows with a hard Irish whip. Bo punches Gabriel and he connects with a short arm clothesline. Bo with a rear chin lock. Gabriel with a jawbreaker and kicks followed by a clothesline.

Gabriel with a running forearm and spinning back heel kick. Gabriel is sent to the apron and then Gabriel recovers with a springboard cross body for a near fall. Gabriel with an STO but he misses the quebrada. Bo with a kick to Gabriel and then he hits the BoDog for the three count.

Winner: Bo Dallas

After the match, Bo tells Jack he wants a piece of him. Swagger gets on the apron but Bo stops him for a moment. Swagger with a punch and Bo gets out of the ring on the other side.

We go to commercial.

We are back and AJ Lee makes her way to the announce table for commentary.

Match Number Three: Summer Rae (with Layla El) versus Paige in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Paige backs Summer into the corner. Summer hits Paige from behind when Layla distracts Paige. Summer with kicks to Paige and she applies a Lotus Lock. Paige leans back to get a near fall. Summer turns it into a body scissors and Summer chops Paige in the back. Paige turns over and she connects with a head butt.

Paige with a short arm clothesline and then she puts Summer over the middle ropes for a series of knees to the midsection. Paige waves at AJ and then Paige applies the Black Widow and Summer taps out.

Winner: Paige

After the match, Layla tries to attack Paige, but AJ makes the save for Paige. AJ gives Layla the Paige Turner. Paige tells AJ that is not funny but AJ skips around Paige and leaves the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Michael Cole in the ring to explain the rules for the International Arm Wrestling Competition between Mark Henry and Rusev.

Lana tells everyone to Shut Tup. She then tells Mr. Henry that they are surprised he accepted this challenge. He can avoid the embarrassment for himself and his country if he embraces the American way and forfeits. Just like you forfeited when you competed and failed at the Olympics.

Henry tells Goldylocks that he was proud of his Olympic experiences. He was sad that he had to withdraw because of injuries. He never thought he would get another chance to represent his country. That is the greatest super power on the planet, the United States of America.

At Night of Champions, he is going to unleash 400 pounds of fury on Rusev. Now he is going to show him what he do.

Lana says that they will dedicate this impending victory to their leader, Vladimir Putin.

They get to the table and they lock up for the referee to start the match. Rusev loses his grip and they have to restart.

They go again and Henry gets the early advantage and he wins.

Lana demands a rematch and Cole asks Henry if he will accept, but they have to use their left hand.

They go with the left hand and Lana throws chalk in Henry’s eyes to stop things.

Rusev with a kick to the midsection and then he kicks Henry in the back. Rusev yells at Henry and Lana raises Rusev’s hand as the Russian flag drops.

Rusev with a jumping thrust kick when Henry gets back to his feet.

Renee Young is in the interview area with Chris Jericho. Renee asks Chris about the cage match on Monday as well as Orton’s attack after the match. Chris says that he fought one of the greatest cage matches in Raw history. He scaled to the top of the 25 foot cage and he leapt onto Bray Wyatt. He took some risks, but he lost the match and he can accept that because he did it on his terms.

What he cannot accept is being attacked by Randy Orton to make a statement. By taking Chris Jericho out, he did not finish him off. Jericho says that he is the Viper Vanquisher . . . the Cobra Crusher . . . The Snake Shredder. . . The Adder Mad Hatter . . . The Ophidian Obsidian . . . The Copperhead Shredder. As of tonight and at Night of Champions, Randy Orton will never ever be the same again.

Jericho hisses before leaving.

Miz and Damien Sandow walk in the back in very white suits as we go to commercial.

We are back and Dolph Ziggler has something to say before he goes to the ring. He tells Miz that the idea of having a stunt double is a pretty rad idea. Dolph brings out his stunt double. R Ziggler.

Match Number Four: Damien Sandow and Miz versus Dolph Ziggler and R Truth

Sandow and Ziggler start things off and they lock up. Sandow with a forearm. Ziggler with a forearm and wrist lock followed by a snap mare and leaping elbow drop. Truth tags in and he gives Sandow a snap mare followed by a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Dolph tags back in and he works on the wrist. Ziggler with a drop kick for a near fall. Ziggler with a front face lock and Truth comes in while the referee deals with Miz.

The referee wonders if a tag was made or if that is the proper person in the match. Truth and the referee discuss things and Ziggler joins in. Miz tries to interfere and he gets a double hip toss. Sandow with a double hip toss as well. They clothesline Miz and Sandow over the top rope to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Miz with a reverse chin lock on Ziggler but Ziggler with a snap mare. Ziggler kicks Miz away and he tags in Truth. Truth with flying clothesines and a clotheline before he goes for the splash into the corner and then he knocks Sandow off the apron. Miz with a kick to Truth and then he kicks Truth. Miz with a boot to the head and he tags Sandow back in and Damien gets a near fall.

Sandow with a boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Miz tags back in and Miz kicks Truth. Miz with a kick to the chest. Truth punches Miz but Miz hits the Reality Check and he gets a near fall. Sandow tags in and he tries for the Reality Check but Truth with a back slide on the second neck breaker.

Miz tags in and he hits a leg drop on Truth. Ziggler has something to say to Miz but Miz returns to Truth and he chokes him in the ropes. Sandow tags back in and he chokes Truth. Sandow with an elbow drop to the leg and he tries for a Figure Four Leg Lock but Truth kicks him away. Miz tags in and he knocks Ziggler off the apron. Truth with a hesitation DDT and both men are down.

Ziggler and Sandow tag in and Ziggler with a flying clothesline or two followed by a splash into the corner and a neck breaker. Ziggler sets for the Fameasser but Sandow moves. Sandow with a kick and Sandow tries for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Ziggler escapes and he hits the Fameasser. Miz breaks up the cover.

The referee sends Miz to the apron but that allows Truth to try for a scissors kick but he misses. Ziggler with an uppercut and Truth hits a Zig Zag and Dolph gets the three count.

Winners: Dolph Ziggler and R Truth

We take a look at Jerry Springer’s failed attempt to bring peace to the House of Bella.

We go to Byron Saxton in the interview area with Nikki Bella. Byron asks Nikki what effect the Intervention had on her. She says the entire world got a taste of what she has gone through. Nikki says that she is the victim. Not even Jerry Springer can help their family. Nikki says that she should be focusing on her title match. Winning that Divas Title will help her forget that she ever had a sister.

AJ interrupts and she says that Nikki was going to talk about Nikki weaseled her way into her title match. There must be benefits of being Stephanie’s lap dog.

Not to be outdone, Paige stops by and she tells her best friend that she agrees 100%. It isn’t about her, AJ, and Nikki. It is between her and AJ so she can beat AJ one last time and they can be friends. She tells Brie goodbye and then remembers it is Nikki and leaves.

Nikki says that this could be easy.

Match Number Five Randy Orton and Seth Rollins versus Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns

Orton and Reigns start things off and Orton with punches. Reigns with a snap mare and running shoulder tackles. Reigns clotheslines Orton over the top rope to the floor. Reigns knocks Rollins to the floor. Reigns sends Orton into the apron and he punches him. Rollins tries to get involved but Reigns with an uppercut to Rollins.

Orton knocks Reigns off the announce table when Reigns focused on Rollins on the floor. We go to commercial>

We are back and Orton chokes Reigns in the ropes. Reigns with an uppercut to Rollins on the apron but Orton with a clothesline into the corner. Orton runs his boot laces against the bridge of the nose and he applies a reverse chin lock. Reigns gets to his feet and he hits a uranage slam and both men are down.

Rollins and Jericho tag in and Jericho with a chop to the top of the head and he knocks Orton off the apron. Jericho with a shoulder tackle and a flying clothesline. Jericho with a double leg take down and he tries for the Walls of Jericho but he turns it into a catapult and Rollins hits the turnbuckles. Jericho with the Walls of Jericho on Rollins but Orton comes in and Jericho has to release the hold. Jericho with a bulldog but Orton hits Jericho when he goes for the Lionsault. Rollins with a near fall on Jericho.

Orton tags in and he kicks Jericho in the midsection. Orton with a knee drop to the head and he gets a near fall. Jericho with chops but Orton with a power slam and he gets a near fall. Orton with a boot to the midsection and he tags in Rollins. Rollins with a suplex and he holds on and rolls through for two more. Rollins takes a look at Reigns but that allows Jericho to recover and he sends Rollins over the top rope to the floor with a back body drop. Rollins gets between Jericho and Reigns to prevent the tag.

Orton tags back in and he kicks Jericho. Orton is backed into the corner and he punches and kicks Jericho. Orton with an Irish whip but he runs into boots from Jericho. Jericho with a drop kick from the middle turnbuckle. Reigns tags in and he clotheslines Orton and knocks Rollins to the floor. Orton escapes a Samoan drop attempt but Rollins is not as lucky.

Orton with a kick but Reigns with a flying clothesline. Reigns throws Rollins into the corner and he hits a clothesline on both men and he uppercuts Rollins over the top rope to the floor. Orton gets an uppercut and he falls onto the ropes. Reigns with the Juggernaut drop kick and he punches Orton. Rollins goes for a springboard move but Reigns grabs him and Reigns sends Rollins over the top rope to the floor.

Jericho tags in and he gets a near fall with a cross body. Reigns clotheslines Rollins over the ringside barrier into the crowd. Jericho runs into an elbow from Orton. Orton with a back breaker while Reigns and Rollins fight in the crowd. Orton sets for the IEDDT but Jericho with a rollup for the three count when Orton takes too much time.

Winners: Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns
