WWE NXT TAKEOVER ANNOUNCE TEAM, PUNK, WWE STARS PRAISE JETER AND TONS MORE WWE NEWS

Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and Renee Young will be handling the announcing for tonight's WWE NXT Takeover broadcast on the WWE Network.

I am hearing there may be another debut tonight beyond KENTA. If and when I confirm, we'll update. I don't believe it will be Kevin Steen or Fergal Devitt. When I asked Triple H about their forthcoming debuts, he noted that he wanted to make everyone mean the most when they start out of the gate.

WWE has greatly marked down their remaining CM Punk merchandise and it appears that some of it was pulled altogether. As we noted yesterday in the Elite section, there has been some back and forth between the two sides of late, but rumors of a Punk lawsuit being filed are just that, rumors. There's been no record of any such thing being filed.

John Cena and Big Show paid tribute to New York Yankees great Derek Jeter on the YES Network:

WWE is running a poll on the WWE Network for the most "epic" Smackdown moment for a future episode of WWE Countdown.

The Hulk Hogan edition of the WWE 2K15 videogame has pretty much sold out and copies are going for pretty high prices on Ebay already.
