She says that we will look at the personalities and match ups for the NXT special. Every superstar is fighting for a chance onto the roster. It can be done through big time performances in big time matches.
The three titles in NXT will be defended on Thursday night. The Ascension will defend the NXT Tag Titles against Kalisto and Sin Cara. The Women’s Title will be defended by Charlotte against Bayley. The NXT World Title will be defended in a Fatal Four Way Match with Adrian Neville defending against Tyson Kidd, Tyler Breeze, and Sami Zayn. Kenta will also make his debut on Thursday night.
Renee shows footage from the last Takeover special when Tyler Breeze defeated Sami Zayn in a Number One Contender Match.

We are back with a video package for the Adrian Neville versus Tyson Kidd match from Takeover in May, a match that Tyson Kidd fell short in his quest to become the NXT Champion.
We hear the line about Tyson being known as Natalya’s husband. We see Tyson walk away from Paul Heyman after the show. Tyson wanted another shot at the title and he received it, but he fell short once again and we see highlights from that match on the June 12th episode of NXT.
We take a look at Tyler Breeze with a video package showing his methodical plan to take his title match opportunity against Adrian Neville.
We take a look at footage from the match between Tyler Breeze and Adrian Neville when Tyson Kidd’s interference may have cost Tyler his shot at the title on that night.

We are back and Renee mentions that Konor and Viktor are the longest reigning champions in NXT history.
We take a look at a video package for the Ascension. It starts off with their victory to become the NXT Tag Team Champions. Konor says that there are a lot of teams who think they are worthy to be tag team champions.
We take a look at highlights from the Number One Contender Tournament to determine the opponents for The Ascension with a focus on the finals between the Vaudevillains and the team of Sin Cara and Kalisto.
We go to commercial with a video package for Baron Corbin.
We are back and Renee talks about the NXT Women’s Title Match between Charlotte and Natalya from Takeover and we see highlights from the match.
We see the footage from the NXT Takeover Post Game show when.
Bayley says that she has been with NXT for a year and a half and she says that this is the coolest. She says that she is so happy to be here.
We see footage from the Number One Contender Match against Sasha Banks.
Bayley says that she belongs here. She says that the other girls don’t want it as much as she does.
We see Bayley defeating Sasha again.
Bayley says that she wants to be the best.
Charlotte says that she has a legacy to uphold. You don’t see tears in her eyes. The next time Bayley will have tears in her eyes is when she walks out of Takeover. She beat Natalya and no one is going to be beat her.
Bayley says Charlotte has been a great champion and it will mean more when she beats her. She pictures herself holding the NXT Women’s Title belt and she thinks of Shawn Michaels after he won the WWE Title.

We are back and Renee mentions the debut of Kenta at Takeover: Fatal 4 Way.
We see the announcement of the NXT Title Match for Takeover as well as the tag match that took place two weeks ago on NXT when Tyson Kidd and Tyler Breeze defeated Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn after Zayn accidentally hit Neville with a Helluva Kick.
Renee wonders what will happen when it is all four men for themselves at Takeover.
Renee mentions the Hair versus Hair Match between Enzo Amore and Sylvester Lefort as well as the match between Bull Dempsey and Mojo Rawley that will fill out the rest of the show.
