COMPLETE SHINE 21 iPPV COVERAGE: HAVOK'S LAST STAND; SHINE TITLES DEFENDED; AND MORE

Welcome to PWInsider.com’s coverage of SHINE 21, from the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida. Tonight’s show features a Four Corner Survival Match to determine the opponent for SHINE Champion Ivelisse; the first title defense for Legendary against the former SHINE Tag Team Champions, the Lucha Sisters; and Havok’s Last Stand, a Dog Collar Match between Jessicka Havok and Allysin Kay, with the members of Valkyrie barred.

Before the show started, they announced that Shine 22 will return to the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida on Friday, October 10, 2014.

Lexie Fyfe, the Vice President of Talent Relations makes her way to the ring.

Lexie brings Rain to the ring for a special presentation. Lexi tells Rain that they have a special surprise for her. Lexie tells Rain that to commemorate her 14 years in the business as well as the fact that she was the first Shine Champion, they present her with a Shine Title belt.

Match Number One: Four Corner Survival Match to Determine Number One Contender: Amazing Kong (with Daffney) versus Su Yung (with April Hunter) versus Nevaeh versus Leah Von Dutch

Before the match starts, Nevaeh tries to get in the heads of her opponents.

Nevaeh starts and she says that Su is starting instead of Kong. April tries to get Su out of her trance before the bell rings. Nevaeh with a kick and wrist lock into a hammer lock but Su with a reversal but Nevaeh gets to the ropes and Su releases the hold. Nevaeh claims that Su bit her. Su with a side head lock and take down. Nevaeh with a rollup for a near fall. Su holds on to the side head lock.

Nevaeh with a full nelson but Su powers out of the hold and takes Nevaeh down and applies a body scissors. Nevaeh leans back for a near fall. Nevaeh gets to the ropes and then she goes to the floor. Leah comes in and she connects with knees and shoulders in the corner. Leah tosses Su across the ring by the hair.

Leah with a reverse chin lock and double sledge to the back followed by a figure four head scissors. Leah rolls Su over and she drives Su’s head into the mat. Leah gets a near fall. Leah chokes Su in the corner but Su with a thumb to the eyes. Leah with a chop to Su. Leah with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Leah goes to the turnbuckles but she misses a splash. Su goes for an arm bar submission but Leah gets to the ropes.

Su with kicks to Leah. Su puts Leah in the tree of woe and Su with kicks to the back. Su with a cannonball off the apron onto Nevaeh. Kong comes in and the referee sends Su to the corner. Kong goes to the apron on the referee’s orders and it is Su and Nevaeh. Nevaeh with a forearm followed by a face wash. Nevaeh pushes Su and chops her. Su with chops. They go to forearms with Nevaeh gaining the advantage. Nevaeh with a snap mare and boot to the head.

Nevaeh with a reverse chin lock. Su backs Nevaeh into the corner and she uses her rear end on Nevaeh. Su with an Irish whip into the corner and she hits a running drop kick. Su gets a near fall. Nevaeh with an STO but Leah breaks up the cover and she rolls Nevaeh to the floor so she can enter the match and Leah gets a near fall. Su with a knee to Leah.

Leah with a shoulder to Su against the ropes. Leah with a waist lock but Su with a standing switch. Su with an Irish whip but Leah floats over. Su kicks Leah and she goes for the arm bar submission. Kong breaks up the hold and Nevaeh kicks Kong but Kong pushes Nevaeh away.

Kong with a clothesline to Nevaeh and then Kong with an Implant Buster to Leah. Kong gets a near fall on Leah. Su and Nevaeh work over Kong and they send Kong to the floor. Su is also sent to the floor and Nevaeh hits a Death Valley Driver for the three count.

Winner: Nevaeh

Jayme Jameson comes out and says that her scheduled tag team partner is not here because she was in an automobile accident. She does have a replacement for Marti.

Match Number Two: The Buddy System (Heidi Lovelace and Solo Darling [with Daffney]) versus BTY (Amanda Rodriguez and Jayme Jameson)

Solo and Heidi mock Amanda and Jayme’s pre-match routine.

Heidi tells Solo to calm down and she gives Solo a treat while Amanda and Jayme go to the floor.

Jayme and Heidi officially start things off and they lock up and Jayme with a waist lock. Heidi with a standing switch but Jayme gets to the ropes. Jayme wants a test of strength and Jayme gets the early advantage but Heidi with a rollup for a near fall. Heidi with kicks to the leg followed by a back heel kick and a kick to the chest. Heidi with a drop toe hold and Amanda checks on Jayme.

Heidi with forearms to Jayme. Jayme with a low blow while the referee was dealing with a distraction by Amanda. Jayme gets a near fall. Jayme sends Heidi into the turnbuckles and chokes her. Amanda gets in a few kicks while the referee deals with Jayme. Amanda tags in and snap mares Heidi and follows with a reverse chin lock. Heidi with elbows but Amanda with a rake of the eyes.

Amanda with a camel clutch and then she sends Heidi into the turnbuckles. Jayme tags in and she connects with forearms. Jayme with a suplex and she floats over and gets a near fall. Jayme with another suplex and another near fall. Jayme with an Irish whip but Heidi sends Jayme into the turnbuckles. Amanda knocks Solo off the apron to prevent the tag. Amanda with punches to Heidi before the referee sends Amanda to the apron. Jayme pulls Heidi out of the corner to work on the back.

Jayme with a kick for a near fall. Jayme with punches to Heidi. Amanda tags in and she kicks Heidi. Amanda chokes Heidi in the corner and the referee warns her. Amanda tosses Heidi across the ring by the hair and gets a near fall. Heidi has had enough and she connects with forearms but Amanda keeps Heidi from making the tag and Amanda with a kick a drop kick for a near fall.

Amanda gets Heidi on her shoulders for a slam. Heidi with a kick and she tags in Solo. Solo with forearms and elbow followed by a bulldog. Solo with a back senton for a near fall. Jayme catches Solo on a cross body attempt and Jayme with a fallaway slam. Amanda with a leg drop to the back of the head but Heidi breaks up the cover. Jayme sends Heidi to the apron and then Heidi pulls Jayme to the floor.

Solo gets a second wind and she connects with rapid fire chops and then she hits an X Factor but Jayme breaks up the cover. Jayme pushes Solo but Heidi tags in and she chops Jayme and connects with forearms Jayme catches Heidi but she accidentally knocks Amanda down. Heidi and Solo with a double drop kick to Jayme and they follow that with a double stroke to Amanda for the three count.

Winners: Solo Darling and Heidi Lovelace

After the match, Jayme kicks Amanda before leaving the ring.

Match Number Three: Thunderkitty versus Justine Silver

Silver wants to shake hands but Thunderkitty plays on Silver’s heritage and then they shake hands. They lock up and Thunderkitty works on the wrist. Silver with a reversal. Thunderkitty with a reversal into a side head lock and take down. Silver with a head scissors and Thunderkitty escapes. Thunderkitty with a waist lock but Silver with a wrist lock. Thunderkitty with chops and a splash into the corner.

Thunderkitty with another splash into the corner followed by an Irish whip. Silver gets her elbow up when Thunderkitty charges into the corner. Thunderkitty catapults Silver into the corner. Thunderkitty with a sleeper but Silver with a jawbreaker to escape. Silver with a snap mare and drop kick for a near fall. Silver with a La Magistral for a near fall.

Silver with a double leg take down and jackknife cover for a near fall. Silver with a waist lock and an O’Connor Roll for a near fall. Silver misses a double sledge but Thunderkitty with chops. Silver with a chop for a near fall. Silver with a single leg crab but Thunderkitty gets to the ropes. Silver with forearms.

Silver tries for a backslide but Thunderkitty blocks it. Thunderkitty tries for a backslide and gets a near fall. Thunderkitty with chops. Thunderkitty with an Irish whip and splash in the corner. Silver with a kick to Thunderkitty and she goes to the turnbuckles for a tomahawk chop. Silver with a chop for a near fall.

Thunderkitty with a suplex and she gets a near fall. Silver with a waist lock but Thunderkitty with a sleeper. The referee checks Silver’s arm and the arm drops three times so the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Thunderkitty

Match Number Four: The Kimber Bombs (Kimber Lee and Cherry Bomb) versus The S-N-S Express (Sassy Stephie and Jessie Belle Smothers)

Smothers and Cherry start things off and Smothers with a rake of the eyes. Cherry with a full nelson and arm drags. Cherry with drop kicks and she gets a near fall. Cherry with a front face lock into a wrist lock but Smothers escapes and she slaps Cherry. They criss cross on the ropes and Cherry tells Smothers to stop and look up. She slaps Jessie. They do it again and Jessie stops Cherry but it does not work.

Stephie tags in and Cherry with a drop toe hold into a front face lock. Stephie with a punch but Cherry with a forearm. Cherry with a jawbreaker and Kimber with a bicycle kick for a near fall. Kimber with a Lotus Lock but Stephie bridges back to get a near fall. Stephie with a rocking chair submission but Kimber gets to the ropes. Stephie with a wrist lock into a hammer lock. Kimber with an elbow and side head lock.

Stephie gets a near fall with a rollup. Stephie with a knee and forearm. Stephie with a chop. Kimber with clotheslines and a back heel kick. Kimber tries for a suplex but Stephie blocks it. She cannot block a second attempt and Kimber gets a near fall. Kimber with forearms to the back. Stephie blocks a suplex and she backs Kimber into her corner.

Jessie tags in and she kicks Kimber and chokes her in the corner. Cherry distracts the refereeand that allows Stephie and Jessie to double team Kimber. Jessie slaps Kimber but Kimber with a chop. Stephie pulls Kimber down and Jessie gets a near fall. Stephie tags in and they send her into the corner Stephie with a running knee into the corner. Stephie with a snap mare and kick to the back.

Stephie drives Kimber’s head into the mat and she gets a near fall. Jessie tags in and hits a suplex for a near fall. Jessie with a side Russian leg sweep and she rolls Kimber around the ring for a series of near falls. Jessie kicks Kimber and Stephie tags in and she keeps Kimber from making the tag. Stephie sends Kimber to the mat and she gets a near fall.

Stephie with a front face lock but Kimber tries to get to her corner. Jessie distracts the referee and he does not see the tag while Stephie pulls Kimber into the center of the ring. Jessie with a modified Last Chancery before returning to a front face lock.

Stephie tags in and she goes to the turnbuckles for an elbow off a side slam by Jessie. Kimber takes Stephie down by the hair and both women are down. Jessie and Cherry tag in and Cherry with a clothesline and back elbow followed by a sliding clothesline against the ropes for a near fall. Jessie with a double thrust to the throat. Jessie misses a charge into the corner and Cherry with a drop kick to the back. S-N-S tries for Kiss My Sass but Cherry moves. Cherry with a Death Valley Driver to Jessie and then Cherry with a super kick to Stephie followed by a back senton by Kimber onto Jessie for the three count.

Winners: Kimber Lee and Cherry Bomb

Match Number Five: Taylor Made (with April Hunter) versus La Rosa Negra (with Noemi Bosques)

Taylor avoids Rosa and April shows her proficiency in Spanish. They lock up and Taylor with chops. Rosa with clotheslines. Rosa with an atomic drop and flying clothesline for a near fall. Rosa with a kick and she gets Taylor on her shoulders and hits a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Rosa with a forearm but Taylor with an Irish whip and knees in the corner followed by a neck breaker for a near fall.

Taylor punches Rosa and rubs her face in the mat. Taylor kicks Rosa and chokes her by the ropes. April with forearms to Rosa while Taylor was explaining her ring strategy with the referee. Taylor rubs Rosa’s face in the mat again followed by kicks to the back. Taylor backs Rosa into the corner and she punches and kicks Rosa. Taylor chokes Rosa in the corner before the referee warns her. Taylor runs her boot across Rosa’s face.

Taylor with a baseball slide to the nether regions and Taylor gets a near fall. Taylor with a reverse chin lock. Taylor kicks Rosa. Rosa with a sunset flip for a near fall. Taylor gets a series of near falls. Taylor with a spinning toe hold and forearms to Rosa before getting a near fall. Taylor throws Rosa towards the ropes. Taylor with a neck breaker for a near fall. Taylor chokes Rosa and the referee warns Taylor.

Taylor with an Irish whip but Rosa moves when Taylor goes for knees in the corner. Rosa with a clothesline and elbow. Taylor with an Irish whip but Rosa with a back elbow. Rosa with a kick and thrust kick followed by a TKO. Rosa goes up top and hits an elbow drop but April pulls Rosa out of the ring.

Noemi tries to punch April but April moves and she kicks Noemi. While the referee is dealing with April, Taylor hits Rosa with brass knuckles and gets the three count.

Winner: Taylor Made

Match Number Six: SHINE Tag Team Championship Match: Legendary (Malia Hosaka and Brandi Wine [with Leilani Kai]) versus The Lucha Sisters (Mia Yim and Leva)

Before the match, Malia poses for a photo with Rios, who is in the crowd to watch Mia and Leva.

Malia goes after Leva and Leva shoots Malia with her gun (Leva is dressed as Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy).

The match starts and Malia and Leva lock up. Malia with the crane position and then we get some dancing from Malia and Leva. Malia with an arm drag. Leva avoids a punch and Leva goes to the turnbuckles for an assisted arm drag. They lock up and Malia and Leva both try to work on the arm. Malia with a springboard arm drag.

Leva with a Japanese arm drag and Malia says that Leva pulled her hair. Mia tags in and Malia tags in Brandi. Mia with a Thesz Press and she slams Brandi’s head into the mat. Mia with a kick and forearm followed more kicks. Mia with a cannonball and she gets a near fall. Mia with a camel clutch. Leilani pulls Leva off the apron and Malia attacks Mia. Brandi with forearms to Mia followed by a shoulder in the corner. Malia tags in and she connects with shoulders in the corner.

Malia with a shoulder and she tags in Brandi. Mia avoids a charge into the corner and Mia with a Tarantula. Leva goes after Malia but the referee puts her back in the corner. Malia tags in and they kick Mia. Mia with punches followed by a slam. Leva tags in and Mia drops Leva on Malia for a near fall. Leva with forearms. Leva with a rollup and a back heel kick. Mia tags in and hits a drop kick for a near fall.

Brandi breaks up a package piledriver attempt and Brandi and Malia with a double clothesline while the referee keeps Leva on the apron. Malia gets a near fall. Mia with punches and Leva tags in. Mia with a reverse atomic drop and Leva with a drop kick. Mia holds Malia’s head for a running kick but Leva. Leva gets a near fall.

Mia with a quebrada but she is not the legal person in the match. Leva goes up top while Leilani and Brandi attack Mia. Leva with a double knee splash on Malia but Thunderkitty hits Leva with the title belt while the referee was watching the brawl on the floor and Malia gets the three count.

Winners: Malia Hosaka and Brandi Wine

After the match, Malia destroys their ‘Groot’ and then Malia, Brandi, and Thunderkitty attack Mia.

The Kimber Bombs come out and they slam Malia and Brandi. Thunderkitty and Leilani hit Kimber and Cherry from behind with the title belts.

Match Number Seven: SHINE Championship Match: Ivelisse versus Nevaeh

Ivelisse tries for a kick but Nevaeh blocks it and hits a backpack stunner for a near fall. Nevaeh kicks Ivelisse and connects with a shoulder in the corner. Nevaeh puts Ivelisse on the turnbuckles but Ivelisse with a kick to the arm and an arm drag. Nevaeh with forearms and kicks followed by a suplex for a near fall. Nevaeh starts to work on the arm and shoulder.

Ivelisse with forearms but Nevaeh sends Ivelisse into the corner. Nevaeh with a rolling mare followed by a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Nevaeh with a surfboard. Nevaeh with an arm bar while trapping the other arm in a hammer lock. Ivelisse with a near fall. Nevaeh with a forearm and rear chin lock. Nevaeh wit forearms to Ivelisse and then she slams Ivelisse’s head into the mat.

Ivelisse with a kick to the leg. Nevaeh blocks a kick and then she stomps on the midsection. Nevael with another kick. Ivelisse with an arm drag but Nevaeh with a forearm. They go back and forearm and Ivelisse with the advantage. Nevaeh with a clothesline and she gets a near fall. Ivelisse tries for a crucifix but Nevaeh stays on her feet. Ivelisse with kicks to Nevaeh. Nevaeh blocks a kick and gets a near fall. Nevaeh with a kick to the back.

Nevaeh chokes Ivelisse in the ropes. Ivelisse lands on her feet when Nevaeh pulls her away from the ropes. Nevaeh with a clothesline for a near fall. Nevaeh with a Tiger Clutch and then Nevaeh sends Ivelisse face first into the mat. Nevaeh with a curb stomp for a near fall. Nevaeh with an Irish whip but Ivelisse comes off the turnbuckles with a cross body for a near fall.

Nevaeh with a series of kicks and Ivelisse goes down. Nevaeh with a near fall. Nevaeh chokes Ivelisse in the ropes and the referee warns her. Ivelisse with a kick and Nevaeh with a waist lock but Ivelisse with a rollup for a near fall. Nevaeh with a surfboard on Ivelisse. Ivelisse tries to escape but Nevaeh counters with a Straitjacket choke. Nevaeh slams Ivelisse’s head into the mat and Ivelisse gets her hand on the rope to stop the count.

Ivelise with kicks to Nevaeh’s head. Nevaeh with a spinebuster for a near fall. Nevaeh with a full nelson followed by snap mare and kick to the back. Nevaeh with a dragon sleeper. Ivelisse tries to lean back to escape the hold but Nevaeh with forearms to the midsection. Nevaeh with more forearms and then she releases the hold. Ivelisse with chops. Nevaeh with a forearm. Ivelisse with a chop. They go back and forth with forearms. Ivelisse with the forearm advantage. Nevaeh with a side slam for a near fall. Nevaeh with a surfboard and she gets a near fall.

Ivelisse with knees to the head while Nevaeh chokes her. Nevaeh with a kick to the midsection. Nevaeh chokes Ivelisse in the ropes. Ivelisse with three boots to the chest. Ivelisse with a DDT followed by a buttefly suplex for a near fall. Nevaeh with a chop but Ivelisse with a chop. Nevaeh with another chop. They continue to go back and forear. Nevaeh with forearms and Ivelisse returns fire. They go to kicks. Ivelisse with a round kick to the back of the head and she gets a near fall.

Ivelisse with a guillotine choke but Nevaeh counters with a package brainbuster for a near fall. Ivelisse with a slap and forearm. Ivelisse with a guillotine DDT for a near fall. The referee is knocked out inadvertently and Nevaeh hits a German suplex. Nevaeh covers but there is no referee to make the count.

Nevaeh demands that the other referee come out to finish the match and then she tries to wake up the original referee and she slap him to wake him up. Nevaeh covers Ivelisse but Ivelisse kicks out because of the slow cadence from the referee. Ivelisse with elbows followed by knees and a kick. Ivelisse with Code Red for the three count.

Winner: Ivelisse

Match Number Eight: Havok’s Last Stand: Jessicka Havok versus Allysin Kay in a Dog Collar and Chain Match with Valkyrie Barred

Jessicka is the first to have the collar put around their neck, so that means that Kay is going to try to take advantage of the situation by avoiding being chained. The referee makes sure that he is not hurt by the chain at this time. Allysin does not have any problem allowing the collar to be put on.

The bell rings and they try to pull their opponent towards each other. They pull each other into the center of the ring and Havok lets go and Kay falls to the mat. Havok with boots to Kay followed by running boots into the corner. Havok goes for a third one but Kay pulls Havok down by the chain. Kay kicks Havok but Havok pulls Kay down.

Havok with kicks to Kay. Havok gets Kay on her shoulders but Kay escapes, as far as she can. Kay pulls Havok to the floor. Kay with forearms and kicks. Kay slams Havok’s face into the apron. Kay chokes Havok but Havok with a rake of the eyes and a slap. Havok with another slap and head butt. Havok with a boot to Kay’s head. Kay slaps Havok and then Kay tries for a kick from the apron but Havok blocks it and gets Kay on her shoulders.

Havok drops Kay face first on the apron. Havok grabs chairs and throws them on Kay. Havok uses a chair to choke Kay. Kay hits Havok with a chair and then connects with a forearm before sending Havok into the apron. Kay rolls into the ring and out the other side so she can pull Havok into the ring post. Kay chokes Havok with the chain. Kay gets a near fall.

Kay chokes Havok with the chain. Kay with a neck snap but Havok is able to choke Kay with the chain. Kay with a forearm to Havok and then she chokes Havok with the chain. Havok with a kick to the back and then to the midsection. Havok with a Stretch Muffler and she uses the chain to choke Kay. Kay hits Havok with the chain to escape the hold. Kay with punches to Havok and then she uses the chain to punch Havok.

Kay gets a near fall. Kay sends Havok to the floor and Kay hangs Havok with the chain. Havok gets to the apron to diminish the impact. Kay climbs the turnbuckles to choke Havok. Kay wraps the chain around Havok’s neck. Havok’s face turns red from the lack of oxygen due to the choke. Havok comes into the ring and the momentum sends Kay to the floor. Havok pulls Kay into the apron. She does it a second time.

Havok tells Allysin she is going to die and she pulls Kay into the apron a few more times. Havok pulls Kay onto the apron and then Havok goes to the other side of the ring and she pulls on the chain to choke Kay. Havok with a knee to the back and both women go back to the floor. Havok throws a chair into the ring. Havok rolls Kay back into the ring.

Havok with an Air Raid Crash onto the chair and both women are down. Havok gets a near fall. Kay grabs the chair and hits Havok in the head with it, but she can only get a two count. Kay stomps on the chair that is put on top of Havok. Kay with a kick to the back of the head. Kay goes under the ring and she gets a table.

Kay hits Havok in the back with the chain. Kay chokes Havok with the chain but Havok will not quit. Kay with a kick to the back. Kay sets up the table. Havok has time to recover and she punches Kay. Kay slams Havok’s head into the table. Both women wrap their hands in the chain and both go down after punches. The referee makes his count. Havok is up first and she kicks Kay.

Havok with shoulders in the corner and then Jessicka puts Allysin on the turnbuckles. Havok with a forearm and she climbs the turnbuckles for a superplex but Kay blocks it. Kay grabs Havok by the collar and Havok hits an Air Raid Crash through the table for the three count.

Winner: Jessicka Havok

After the match, Jessicka takes the mic and she says that in the end the Death Machine prevails. She thanks the fans and Shine for the opportunity to perform with some of the best women in wrestling today. She says that she has proven why Jessicka Havok is women’s wrestling.
