Is it just me or does this whole Brie/Steph angle scream a Nikki Bella turn. I mean she did put herself on the line for Brie. She could have took the raise for Nikki plus the match. Plus if Steph stinks up the ring after so much time off Nikki could just jump in and save them from a huge PPV lull. It just seems textbook WWE. I hope I'm wrong. We need more end of the streak moments. After 30 plus years a wrestling it's very rare I don't get exactly what I expected, and that's just sad.

It is not just you. I too could see Nikki turning (and they better have a really good reason for it). In addition to having her possibly work as Steph's proxy, think of the drama it will create when Total Divas returns on E! next month.

I'm completely impartial on the Russo feud thing, but I read on your website that TNA/Spike TV negotiations may been affected by exposing that Russo still worked for TNA. I understand you guys don't get along with him, but being that the leak of confidential info could hurt the whole promotion. I was wondering in hindsight, what is PWInsider's general feeling about the leak and what has transpired to this point with the promotion? Was it mainly to be informative or a shot at Russo?

It's not that I don't get along with Russo. I just don't trust anything that comes out of his mouth because, as proven here on the site, I never know when he is telling the truth. Our job is to report the news. I reported in April that he was working for TNA as a consultant. He disputed the report. Then we were able to prove the report, with his as the source. That is our job, to report the news. Anyone that sees anything personal in it is just looking for things that aren't there. And honestly, I don't know how anyone can be impartial about someone that lies, but that's just me.

This is just an oddball question but since we've been seeing them on camera a little more than usual, what do you think of idea of Joey Mercury, Finley, and Jamie Noble becoming stooges for The Authority the way Briscoe and Patterson were for Vince McMahon?

I really hate when the wrestling business redoes old stuff. I prefer them to do new stuff so I don't want to see that.

With TNA now looking unlikely to secure a new deal with Spike, do you think its possible Eric Bischoff could step in and smooth over a deal? I say this as Bischoff revealed on the Ross report podcast he 'wasn't quite unemployed' yet (obviously referring to BHE producing Impact) and there were always reports that Spike TV were big fans of Bischoff when he was assisting with things at TNA. Could you see TNA asking him to assist?

I highly doubt that happens. TNA has UTA negotiating the deal. They trump Bischoff on the power scale. If they can't get it done, I don't see Bischoff being able to do it. It is also interesting that Bischoff denied our report of him still having a consulting deal with TNA as well. Some people just make me laugh, and he is one of them.

In relation to the WWE Network being expanded to the UK. Do you know if when it launches, it will launch with the already aired in the US Monday Night Raws (1993 onwards), Wrestlemania rewinds and so on in the vault ready to view? Or if the programming will start from episode one and continually be behind the US vault?

They have said that when they expand the Network it will be the version that we get here in the US so to me that means you will get whatever we have online here. They don't plan on doing region specific programming at the onset of distribution in new markets.
