BACKSTAGE NEWS AND NOTES FROM RAW, INCLUDING THE STAR WHO REALLY WASN'T THERE

Although it was presented as if it "just happened" on Raw, The Wyatt Family attack on Chris Jericho was filmed Sunday in Tampa, FL. Jericho flew to Los Angeles yesterday morning to begin promotional work for the release of his band Fozzy's latest CD. It's actually pretty smart of WWE to film the segments in advance as a way to further the feud while allowing Jericho to pursue his outside projects.

Roman Reigns was originally slated to wrestle Rusev last night, but the re-writes of the show changed late in the day to add the handicap match, thus why WWE had two handicap matches in a row in the first hour of the show.

Bo Dallas vs. Great Khali in a rematch from last week's Raw was originally slated as well but was dropped over the course of the day.

The Rock's mother was visiting at the show and watched from the front row.
