WWE will broadcast Main Event and tape Smackdown tonight in Orlando, Florida. Announced for Main Event is WWE United States champion Sheamus vs. Rusev. Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio will headline Smackdown.

The Rock will be promoting his new film “Hercules” tonight on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The latest CD from Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy “Do You Wanna Start A War” was officially released today.

Lana and Rusev were mentioned in a bit on the 7/21 episode of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central with host Jon Stewart (a wrestling fan) responding to their comments at Battleground with pro-wrestling style hype about Jack Swagger getting revenge for losing via countout at Summerslam, dropping references to Antonio Cesaro being “The King of Swing”. Stewart finally catches himself and looks around embarrassed before saying, “wrong room?” Thanks to Eric Lewis.

David Otunga will be appearing on the 7/30 episode of ABC’s “General Hospital” as himself. Otunga was mentioned last week on the show by an older character, Alice who is said to be a former professional wrestler who is now in the hospital following a heart attack. Otunga told Soap Opera Digest that the show invited him to appear and it’s his sister’s favorite TV series. He’s recently started watching the show. Otunga will appear in scenes at the hospital visiting Alice and also interact with characters Michaels and Kiki. Thanks to Eric Sturrock.

Leon Peters sent word that on the WWE Network’s listing of the Main Event special from February 1988 (Andre the Giant defeating Hulk Hogan for the WWF title is the marquee bout), the episode actually runs longer than the original broadcast, showing the finish of Strike Force vs. The Hart Foundation. The original special went off the air without a finish while the version on the Network continues a bit after the Network sign-off.

WWE has released new t-shirts for Jack Swagger and Nikki Bella.
