WHY JOHN CENA WINNING TONIGHT WOULD BE THE WORST THING FOR THE WWE NETWORK, JOSH MATHEWS IN TNA, WHY IT IS TIME TO STRAP THE ROCKET TO ROMAN REIGNS AND MORE

OK, WWE is teasing a Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena WWE Title match for SummerSlam. Do you really think Vince will do that? Doesn't he realize that they need new blood at the top of the card?

First let me say this. I have nothing against John Cena. I appreciate his place in the industry and he has earned his spot on the card. But, he is also a made man. Any match he is in is a main event caliber bout. Cena has been on top so long that to many fans he represents the "staleness" factor that, in my opinion, is keeping some people from buying the WWE Network. The hardcore fans have already bought the Network so WWE has them. If WWE wants the fans that get enough of their product on Monday and/or Friday Nights to go in their pockets and buy The Network, they need to give them a reason and to me, that is new characters at the top of the card. It's time to put new blood in the main events and actually commit to it. With renewals for the initial subscribers starting to come due right after SummerSlam, WWE needs to give those people a reason to renew as well. Judging from what I have heard via email and social media, there are definitely fans that will not renew their subscriptions if new blood isn't given a chance.

Why is it that every time Lesnar-Cena is mentioned Dave goes on a rant about them putting the title back on Cena? Is it not possible they could just simply have another grudge match like last time? Who says Lesnar has to challenge for the title this Summer? Wouldn't it make more sense for him to continue dominating until Wrestlemania before putting over Bryan, Reigns or Wyatt?

Wow, you have no idea what a rant is. That is the problem with some people. When someone voices an opinion, they call it a "rant". I am against them putting the title on Cena for the reason listed above and IF they are going to do it, I was explaining why. WWE's primary goals as a company are to keep their TV ratings high and to sell Network subscriptions. I feel Cena on top won't help them with the latter. Maybe new blood on top won't either, but I feel they have to try something new if they want to grow the Network numbers. If it will be Cena vs. Lesnar at SummerSlam, I don't want it to be for the WWE Title. That simple. Since Daniel Bryan seems to be out of the title picture, to me a much better scenario would be to have Roman Reigns win tonight, then beat the "guy who broke The Undertaker's streak" at SummerSlam, beat him and get some of the rub of Lesnar's Mania win. I don't know if Reigns will be the next top tier star but it's time for WWE to find out. They have been pushing the same guys on top for too long now and for the business to really explode, they need more top guys.

Josh Mathews has to be on his way to TNA right?

I hope so. I like Josh a lot. I think TNA could definitely use him. He has worked with Big John Gaburick and Taz in the past. it seems like a no-brainer to me that he would come to TNA.

Do you think Kevin Steen will get lost in the shuffle of WWE?

Given the track record of guys that have been misused after coming to WWE, it is possible. I would hope however that if Steen ends up on the WWE roster he is given a chance to show what he can do. The guy can go and if Vince McMahon can get past the eye test and lets him work, he will realize what an asset Steen can be.

I'm genuinely excited to hear TNA is killing it at the NYC tapings, as I was at Slammiversary & was hoping they'd turn a corner. That being said, isn't it still detrimental to them that some of this stuff won't be on TV for over a month?? Is there any way what they're doing this week is gonna translate the way they want it too in 4 or 5 weeks from now?

That is definitely an issue, them taping so far in advance. With that said, if the product is good I think it can translate a month down the road. Ideally they wouldn't tape that far in advance but the financial realities are what they are.

Following up a question from my last Q and A on Wednesday, we got a few responses.

I have used my iPhone to connect to the network and yes while when you launch the network on your phone computer or tablet it immediately goes into what's currently airing you have to exit out of the current show back into the app go into the menu select the network option then it will give you access to the shows and vault and other viewing options hope that helps. I know it's an hassle to do the extra steps but hopefully wwe will realize this and fix it soon.

You posted a Q & A about watching the WWE Network in the iPhone and hooking it up to the TV. In it he said that he just can watch what's on at the time. I have an iPhone and I can watch anything I want, instead of tapping the network button, he has to tap the menu of the app on the upper left side of the screen, tap the network there and all the choices will be available. Hope this can help.
