COLE AND TRIPLE H SEGMENTS, WHAT IS THE POINT OF NXT, A CASH-IN AT MITB AND MORE

I actually like Michael Cole's interviews with Triple H. For one, it doesn't hog up time on the shows. I personally feel he is getting over this way as the new Mr. McMahon. Your thoughts?

I think they both do a good job and I also like that it's an off-TV feature. HHH obviously gets it, in all aspects of the business. I hope he is the new Mr. McMahon, but not a carbon copy of the original.

My question has to do with The WWE Network. I signed up immediately, but have been having difficulty technical-wise. I use an adaptor from my TV to my cell phone, rather than an XBOX, which I don’t have, or a streaming device, which I refuse to shell out for, just to get the Network. My TV only plays the audio, so I’m forced to watch the Network on my iPhone. Also, my WWE App only shows what’s currently playing on the Network. There is no choice where I can choose from the vast catalog of material on The Network, and I’m tired of waiting for someone to answer the WWE 1-800 line, or respond to my numerous emails about technical issues. My question is this: Do you think WWE is prepared for who-knows-how-many original subscribers that had to do 6 months to start with, that are going to drop, due to either technical issues, or simply because they’re not happy with the service? When my 6 months are up, I’m gone.

I think they are learning as they go, for sure. I have never used an iPhone to hook into my TV so I am unaware with the process. I don't know how easy or hard it is but honestly the way I look at it, if I were having those problems I would buy a Roku device for around 40 bucks. I get that you don't want to buy another device but the way I look at it this month you get two PPVs, that would cost a miniumum of 100 dollars. So to me, even if you buy the device, you are still ahead of the game and would get full functionality of the Network.

I thought the whole point of NXT was that the talent/wrestlers weren't exposed to a national audience until they were ready to be seen? If WWE airs NXT on the WWE Network doesn't that defeat the purpose of NXT? If NXT is now a national promotion over their network than should WWE create a preNXT promotion where the NXT stars aren't seen nationally?

The whole point of NXT is to create talented wrestlers for the main roster, first and foremost. Part of doing that is having them work TV tapings and live specials. That is what they are doing.

Now with the addition of the contract ladder match at MITB, do you think there is a chance that the winner of that match will cash it in at the end of the show?

That is always a possibility. I can't say either way if it will happen, but it's certainly a possibility.

Does the term "most important match in the history in WWE" actually mean anything in WWE anymore? On Monday's Raw (6/16) JBL kept going on and on about how the ladder match for the title at the MitB PPV is going to be the most important ladder match in the history of WWE. Yet if I remember correctly, just this last December, they wouldn't shut up about how the LADDER MATCH to combine the titles was the most important match in the history of WWE. Not that I think either of those matches are/will be the most important match in history, but is it just them not caring what they're saying, or do they just forget their own main event storylines that quickly?

It is definitely hype 101. I take it with a grain of salt.
