JEFF JARRETT AS A HALL OF FAMER, SACRIFICING RAW HOUR THREE FOR A LIVE SMACKDOWN, BRIE VS. STEPH AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-06-12 09:59:33
Do you consider Jeff Jarrett a candidate for the WWE HOF? Rightfully he should have been the first inductee in TNA's HOF, but I doubt we will see that anytime soon given his new promotion GWF is beginning to catch fire. Would his involvement with TNA as a stockholder and his new promotion hinder his shot at the WWE HOF?]

I don't know that WWE will ever induct him as long as he is working for another major promotion, but on the surface, Jeff Jarrett is absolutely a main eventer. He had a really unique and colorful character and worked with all the top names during his run in WWE, which lasted a number of years over different runs, plus he was WCW World champion. I absolutely see Jarrett a a WWE Hall of Fame quality name.

I have a request about your WWE knowledge. WWE posted on facebook and on wwe.com a contest (http://www.wwe.com/totinosbold). Those are US only. Are there any loopholes for outsiders? I am from germany and i would really like to join. Are there any possibilities?

I am pretty sure that if the contest legally states it's only open to residents of the United States, you'd have to move to be eligible.

Do you see a Brie Bella-Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley match sometime soon?

I think that at some point, either a singles match or a mixed tag would be a great Summerslam attraction.

Here's an idea for NBCUniversal: Why don't they move RAW back into a two hour format and take the money that it would cost for the third hour of live RAW programming and put it towards broadcasting Smackdown live on Tuesdays. This way, there would be two "must see live event programming" per week on USA and Syfy. RAW would be back to its normal two hour format and the show wouldn't feel like a marathon to watch anymore. Smackdown could be treated equally to RAW since it would also be live and WWE could have two "A" shows that would bring more viewers. I think the cost of only one more hour of live programming for Smackdown would be outweighed by the benefit of higher Smackdown ratings. The x-factor of course if Vince booking Smackdown equally to RAW as a "must see live TV". Do you think NBCUniversal should do this?

I think you make a hell of a case for them to do it actually. Whether it actually happens or not, we will see, but WWE is open to broadcasting Smackdown live on Tuesdays and has been for some time.

With the Money in the Bank match now being for the title, who do you see dining out on top? I love Cesaro and Wyatt. Both are future champions in my mind but I think the title on them could hurt their growth into solidified, true, top guys. So who gets the belt? Orton, Del Rio, and Sheamus all seem lackluster and rehashed at best.

I am guessing the last two in are John Cena and Roman Reigns. I can see either of them or Wyatt ending up on top. If it's me, I'd go with Wyatt. I think he is primed for it.
