TOP TNA STAR INJURED, COULD LEAD TO SLAMMIVERSARY CHANGE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-05-31 21:34:56
MVP suffered a knee injury yesterday while touring Great Britain for Preston City Wrestling. The injury occurred during a brawl outside the ring during a tag match and was limping badly after.

MVP was scheduled to wrestle at a PCW event in Lancashire, England, today for the promotion but came out at the open of the show to announce he wouldn't be wrestling due to the injury and was on crutches.

During his announcement, MVP said x-rays didn't reveal the cause of the issue and he would be undergoing an MRI.

MVP is scheduled to challenge Eric Young in the main event of the 6/15 TNA Slammiversary PPV. That match may now be in jeopardy, depending on the diagnosis and seriousness of the injury.

Thanks to Ben.
