Vince Russo was asked on his website why Dave doesn't like him. Russo wrote, "Dave? Dave is just another guy who writes whatever he wants to write about me without ever confronting me. That’s the power of the computer age . . . i guess." Is this clown for real? You have "confronted" him many times in the past, as you have talked about on audio before. You guys had an interview booked with him and he dropped out of it when he found out you were going to ask real questions. Is there a bigger joke in wrestling than Russo? Are you going to write an article in response like Mike did?

There may be a bigger joke than Vince Russo in the wrestling but he will give any of the contenders a run for their money. No, I am not going to bother writing about him because he knows he is lying and he is just looking for us to respond to get hits for his new website, Ihadtwogoodyearsasabookerandmilkeditforthenext15.com. He is just looking for attention, so why bother giving it to him? We will, however, ridicule him Funnest Mailbag style later today.

Friday was a bad say for WWE with the stock. Vince McMahon and George Barrios have been saying for months that they expected to double or triple their TV rights deal. Obviously, they didn't. What went wrong and could they be in trouble for making those statements?

In a nutshell, it all comes down to the audience and advertisers have determined that the average WWE fan makes less money than say a NASCAR fan. Thus, it limits what they will pay to reach WWE's audience. WWE grossly overestimated the worth of their TV rights.

Back when the WWE stock was in the 9 dollar range, you said buy it. What do you say now?

I say wait until at least Monday, after their investor call, before doing anything. WWE stock rose on the fact that people thought they would get a mint for their TV rights, which they didn't, and also that the Network would be a bigger success than it has been. Unless they wow us on Monday, I say the stock is pretty much where it is for a while. If it ends up that they have a better deal than they have let on, well I don't understand why they wouldn't have said so on Friday and stopped the bleeding of the stock.

With Daniel Bryan now looking like he will be out for a few months how would you handle the world heavyweight title?

Even if he is out a month, given that The Authority have been trying to get it off of him for a while now, storyline wise they have to use this opportunity to strip him or it makes no sense. I like the idea of having two Money In The Bank matches and then having the winners face off at SummerSlam to become the champion. A nice side benefit is it will also keep us from having to deal with the insipid briefcase storylines, which have gotten really old.

Hi guys, just a quick idea about the WWE World Heavyweight Title landscape. Do you think having an interim champion like in Boxing or MMA would work until Daniel Bryan is fit again? To the best of my knowledge it has not been done before.

Mike Johnson and I talked about this last week. I hate the idea. To me, either you are a champion or you are not! Interim is goofy to me. If a guy can't defend, strip him and give him a shot when he gets healthy.
