VINCE RUSSO IS NOT THE ONLY BIG NAME STILL PART OF THE TNA CREATIVE PROCESS, WHY TNA PUT THE TITLE ON ERIC YOUNG, COMINGS AND GOINGS

By Dave Scherer on 2014-04-18 13:04:32

As reported yesterday, Vince Russo is still working for TNA as a consultant. He is not the only big name still under contract. Eric Bischoff is still under a TNA deal and also doing storyline consulting. From what I have been told, there are less than three months left on both men's contracts with TNA.

If you watched Impact last night you saw that the company is moving ahead by trying to do all that they can to leave TNA Champion Eric Young's goofy character from the past, in the past. They company hopes to turn around the perception that people remember from when Young was a comedy character and hope that they can repackage him as a credible champion on the eyes of the fans.

According to a few sources, part of the reason that they put the belt on Young is to get some cross-promotion with his Animal Planet show, Off The Hook: Extreme Catches, which has its season three debut on Sunday June 16. The company wants to spend the next two months getting Young over as champion to coincide with the return of his Animal Planet show.

At this point, it looks like Chris Sabin will be leaving when his contract expires soon.

Taryn Terrell is set to return soon from having her baby. She was doing some good work before she left.

The door is said to be open for a return of Christopher Daniels and Kazarian at some point down the line.
