For those of you asking who in the world that is, Alvirde is the former Mistico aka the original Sin Cara. WWE made the decision several months ago to move forward with Hunico under the hood as Cara. He had been informed he was being released and was under a no compete. Now that the no compete is finished, WWE announced the departure.
Alvirde had been back in Mexico wrestling already and wrote on Twitter yesterday that he would be wrestling as Sin Cara going forward. He is expected to be working for AAA soon.
