THE FREEBIRDS IN THE WWE HALL OF FAME, AGE RESTRICTIONS ON WWE TALENTS, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A WWE TALENT REFUSED TO DO CHARITY WORK AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-03-27 10:00:00

Is there a rule in wrestling that Paige when she was under 21 couldn't compete in WWE ring? I know she is 21 now but was wondering what the rule is cause Kelly Kelly was under 21 when she was on roster and thanks for help!! :)

There was no official rule, but WWE, in recent years, has absolutely taken the age and maturity of talents under consideration when putting them on the main roster.

With the WWE Network showing old shows from MSG network/ Madison Square Garden and Boston Garden shows do you think they will show the old Prism shows from the Spectrum and also old ag hall shows.

At some point, I believe they will. I have no reason to think they won't utilize as much of their library as they can. This week, they added a WWF show from Houston to the Old School material, so as they move forward, I am sure they will use stuff from Allentown and Philly.

I have been fascinated lately with the Make-A-Wish program. Thinking about how much these guys have on their plates with their regular schedules its mind boggling how Cena can make so many appearances. Obviously Cena should be praised for his work but I have a few other MAW questions that maybe you'll know:

1) (Not referring to the most "REQUESTED" superstars) but do you know which WWE superstars actually HONOR the most requests?

2) At any point in the past have you ever heard of people who did not honor these requests? For example, maybe its because of them being a heel and not wanting to break kayfabe (I can't picture Taker doing it during certain points of his career), or maybe they are just jerks. I can't imagine these days that Management would be happy with a superstar or diva refusing a request for any reason.

3) Lastly, (and I do not know any child who would request this, but indulge me) do you think Vince McMahon himself would grant a Make-A-Wish?

I don't think WWE should or would release statistics on who are requested the most, but my guess is that Cena is the top guy since he's the top talent in the company. I am sure that there have been cases of requests from the charity being blown off (and Bret Hart writes about Ultimate Warrior doing just that in his autobiography, so they allegedly have happened) but I don't think they would happen in the current version of the company. Stephanie McMahon is so adamant about making community initiatives a big cornerstone of the company that if someone refused, I could see their tenure with WWE quickly ending. I also think that if a kid wanted to meet Vince, he would go very far out of his way to make it happen. As much as people like to vilify McMahon, he and WWE have always gone out of their way to help charities. I can see him doing it.

I was wondering if WWE would be able to add Hulk Hogans Rock N Wrestling onto the WWE Network?

As long as they own the rights, which I believe to be the case, then yes, at some point, they would be able to add it.

I'm a huge fan of the legends of wrestling show on the WWE Network. Love hearing the stories and hearing what they think of things. The one think that sticks out is Michael P.S Hayes and him continuing to mention that he isn't a Hall of Famer. Is there any reason why he and the Freebirds aren't in yet? They definitely deserve to be there.

The Fabulous Freebirds certainly deserve to go in. My guess is that they are waiting until WWE holds Wrestlemania in Dallas, where the Birds were certainly their hottest, to do the honors. That is where it should be, in my opinion.
