GIVING BRYAN A CHANCE WITH THE TITLE, WILL THE FANS HIJACK MANIA, JOHN CENA PUTTING OVER NEW TALENT AND MORE

With the probability of The Shield breaking up and Roman Reigns getting a face turn, will Daniel Bryan end up as a "transitional" champion if he wins the championship or would he turn heel and have a decent run?

I think at this point in time, WWE needs to put the belt on Bryan and see how things go. One of the best parts about Bryan is that if he wins the Title, he can be the same undersized, fighting the odds character he has been on his ascent. That means there won't be a character change, like they did with 2011 with CM Punk. The fans love Bryan right now so it makes sense to see if they can run with him on top.

So most of us will (probably) get what we wanted for the last year with Daniel Bryan becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania. But do you think this is gonna keep the (in parts international) audience from hijacking the show? Because there's still the "CM Punk issue" out there and I can imagine that at least during the non-Bryan and non-Hogan segments there gonna be a lot CM Punk chants. Not to mention what's gonna happen during the Raw episode after WM. Just think of last year, when they hijacked the show in a mostly friendly way. So what's your take on this? And do you think there's anything WWE can do to avoid such a scenario?

I hope that doesn't happen. I expect to hear some Punk chants during the down time but honestly if WWE books a strong show, one that flows really well, they can control the crowd. Luckily, they have Bryan to cheer for and that is big.

There was a period in time between 2003-2006 where Undertaker spent the majority of his time feuding with guys that were new & he helped try to build, or were stale and needed help to get that push over the hump. Names like A-Train, Heidenreich, Dudleys (Only PPV Main Event Match in WWE), Luther Reigns, Mark Henry (when he was in floundering stage), Randy Orton, Mr. Kennedy, Great Khali, Muhammad Hassan. Obviously some panned out & some failed. But the point was, Taker knew he needed to help build the roster up & he was the way to do that. That leads me to my question… Shouldn’t John Cena now be in this position? His match with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania is what led me to ask this question, but it’s clear Cena doesn’t need to be in the title picture to be as popular as he is, so shouldn’t he be using his name to help get others over?

I think we are seeing the start of that with Cena now. The last two Manias, Rock was here and they matched their best with the Great One. It was understandable. Now, they are using him the way that they should. He is beyond the Title at this point so he should be used with up and comers to make new names. That doesn't mean he shouldn't ever have the Title again, but it's not needed at this point for him.

Ok, so, I agree that it seems rather predictable that Bryan is going to beat HHH and go on to win the title. I'm good with that. But, I agree that they can make the predictable, unpredictable. So, how's this for an idea: H beats up on Bryan only for Daniel to come back in the last five as you said today. But, then HHH beats down Bryan even more. After the next match, HHH cuts a promo saying that Bryan is in no shape to wrestle, so, since he promised a triple threat match, he, HHH, will take the spot. Bryan shows up halfway through and ends up beating HHH. Orton and Batista can then lay claim to rematches and are protected. HHH can come out on Raw and try to say that he wasn't even supposed to be in the match so he can't lose, only to have Vince return and keep the decision as is.

I expect bells and whistles but that is a little too much. Bryan has been screwed in the past before and I don't the fans to have to feel that pain again, even if it's momentarily. It would get a pop if Vince did that but I like the idea of Bryan beating all of the odds, winning the Title and letting it rest there.

What do you think the odds are of C.M. Punk doing a run-in at Wrestlemania? It seems to me that would be the perfect solution for all sides, including us fans.

If by all sides you ignore what Punk wants, sure it would. But he feels he is done with WWE and he chose to go home. If he wanted to do it, fine. But if not, he shouldn't and he won't.
