WHY WWE IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGING CM PUNK GOING HOME, HOW WWE CAN BOOK BRYAN'S TITLE QUEST, DROPPING THE BALL WITH ADR AND MORE

Who has Del Rio royally pissed off?

Good question. The company has really used him poorly in my opinion. At this point, talk of him not renewing his contract when it expires is not helping his push either. Personally, I think they really dropped the ball with him.

With Daniel Bryan now in a position to beat HHH and win the title at Wrestlemania, almost despite their best efforts WWE is now on the verge of one of the biggest star "making" opportunities ever. Do they see it this way or is this something they're only begrudgingly doing to shut us up? As either a pessimist or long time viewer: do you think they'll blow it?

They definitely didn't plan for it to come to this, despite what anyone in WWE says. The people demanded it and it's happened because of them. Will they blow it? Good Lord, I hope not. If they didn't learn from how they blew it at SummerSlam when Bryan won the WWE Title, and in the months since, it would really shock me. It would have had to gotten through to them by now, right? Right? RIGHT??????

I was at the Raw taping in Memphis on Monday. Great show. I noticed that a few times during the commercials, they removed the ring apron, leaving on one that was underneath. Does this happen at every show? What for? Is there that much sweat accumulating that they want a fresh apron on?

They do it for sanitary and health reasons, which the workers appreciate.

As Dave called for, we now have Daniel Bryan vs Triple H at Wrestlemania, with Bryan crashing the title bout if he wins. It sounds good on paper (as does my idea of Wyatts vs. Shield III and Cena vs. Cesaro... oh, well). But, stealing from a column on Grantland, doesn't this make the show predictable? Last year's WM was a meh show precisely because there was zero surprise with the outcome of any match. So now the predictable path will be Bryan beating HHH, then getting the belt. Of course, if they actually try a surprise tactic, it will just lead to more weeks of internet complaining.

First off, sometimes giving people what they desperately want, despite it being predictable, is the right call. No one really expects Undertaker to lose, but they book his matches so that people still get into them. There are a LOT of things that they could do make the predictable finish unpredictable. HHH could use help from his cronies to beat Bryan, letting the air out of the fans, only for Vince McMahon to come out and continue the match, with Bryan winning. Bryan could be decimated to the point where he has not chance, but yet finds the burst in the last five minutes of the match to win. There are a lot of things that they can do to get to the confetting dropping at the end of the show that will make it fun.

I am lost by the CM Punk situation. He walked out. He's allowing audiences to disrespect other wrestlers with this hijacking without dropping a tweet. To me he's a sucky ass. Paul Heyman would have fired him. Eric Bischoff would have fired him. Wouldn't you? I know there's money on the table but at some point you have to do 'what's right for business' in the real world. ps: Time for the fans to shut up, Punk wasn't fired - he walked out.

I am not as angry as you are so I can see the forest through the trees. Bischoff would have fired him by Fedex, sure, but his overspending doomed WCW so why would I care how he would have handled it? Here is the situation. Vince McMahon has (had?) hoped he could get Punk back. It doesn't appear that will happen. But with that said, they are negotiation their biggest TV contract ever and are rolling out their Network, which may very well be their biggest moment in company history. The last thing that they want to publicly say is one of their top assets is gone. You have to look at it from a business point of view, not a passionate one.
