PUNK RETURNING AT WRESTLEMANIA, SHOULD TNA FIRE THE CREATIVE TEAM AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-03-14 09:00:00
Should TNA clean house of their creative department? I've seen WCW when its storylines were at its worst and I think TNA is worse by a mile.

If you ask TNA, they already did when Eric Bischoff was removed from power and John Gaburick began pushing the current creative direction and goals. I think the company's biggest problem is that they ignore they need to be in a rebuilding phase for a long time before they can get cute with angles and finishes again. By pulling some of the finishes they do, all they actually accomplish is to remind the audience that nothing has really changed.

What are your thoughts on a CM Punk surprise run-in return at WrestleMania XXX....screwing over Daniel Bryan? Then next night on Raw doing a promo sticking with his mission statement that he's "The Best In The World" and Daniel Bryan isn't in his league.

It's possible that could happen. Anything is possible until Wrestlemania goes off the air. My feeling based on everything we've heard is that Punk was at the end of his rope - physically, mentally and perhaps emotionally and needed to go recharge his batteries. Whether that ever leads him back to wrestling, we'll have to see.

First of all love the site, it's the only site I go to now for all my wrestling news, so thank you! My question is this: With the news that WWE was going to be releasing the DVD sets of their WWE Studios movies, is there a chance we could see these movies be on the Network too?

Absolutely. WWE fully intends to place their movies on the Network. Right now, they are just getting their feet wet and are running a lot of repeat material since they are offering a "free week". Once that promotional period is over, I suspect we'll see a lot more of their movies and archived material.

With Orton carrying around both titles and the WWE just created the new WWE Championship about a year ago, do you think they are planning to split the titles down the road? Maybe something where a champion is feuding with the authority or Vince and they have him defend both titles in one night? (Similar to the way Jericho united the titles in 02). I also remember a pole on WWE.com maybe a year ago asking if the fans wanted to see the brand extension return, to which I saw a huge vote towards yes. Could this be a possibility?

There's been no talk of the titles being split, but I suppose WWE could always go that route if they decided they had a storyline that would work. I honestly think that once they finish rolling out the new logo, they will shift over to a new title belt.

Will there be a Divas title match at Wrestlemania 30?

Yes, press releases for the Total Divas season two already announced a big plotline for the series will be the Divas title bout at Wrestlemania.
