Garcia, who according to his wife has been sick for the past few weeks, had been hospitalized for a while and just could never get better.

Garcia started working for AAA in 2000 as Espectrito Jr. and garnered his most fame in his last gimmick as Mini Chessman starting in 2004.

Garcia was never the top mini rudo but he was always around when needed and worked a lot of spot shows being regarded as one of the most dependable guys around.

Lots of his fellow luchadores have posted their well wishes to the family on social media as Garcia was one of the more popular guys in the locker room.

The last show he worked on was on January 1st at Arena Lopez Mateos.
